  12. Account User on July 26, 2022 at 8:02 pm

  13. Gary Vermaak on July 26, 2022 at 8:06 pm

Actually the UK’s first urban airports opened just after WW1, but BEA (now British Airways) opened the UK’s first VTOL "urban airport" at Waterloo in July 1955.

The World "Earth" DON’T NEED TO MUCH OF TECHNOLOGY FROM DRONES & FLYING TAXIS TO HEAL CLIMATE CHANGE
that can be used for Drones and Flying Taxi on Terrorizing Establishments Nor Human Lives Someday, All We NEED for
Transportation to REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT ON EARTH is TO USED MORE OF BICYCLES, PUBLIC VEHICLES for
Transporting Goods & People such Buses, Trains that uses Renewable and Sustainable Power for the FUTURE.

  25. Bhaishree Jain on July 26, 2022 at 8:25 pm

A title such as "World’s first drone airport" could be a better choice. Expect better standards from WION !

  26. PikaDamos on July 26, 2022 at 8:28 pm

When you think about it in relation to flying taxis. It is not really new technology. It is just an electric helicopter that transports people. So really, it is just the same or popularizing helicopter transport like was done back in the late 1900s.

  27. Ann Young on July 26, 2022 at 8:28 pm

Well according to the Davos Economic world forum and the Great Reset, drones will deliver our groceries and anything else. There will be less travelling. You will own nothing and be happy. Renting will be imposed. They aim to abolish private property by 2030

  38. marxman00 on July 26, 2022 at 8:40 pm

you cant deliver anything by drone or helicopter that cant be done thousands of times better cheaper and safer than by a car! If the civil aviation authority dont ,the first accident will put this "idea" out for good.

  39. Arfur Cough on July 26, 2022 at 8:41 pm

  41. NEIL KAMAL SEAL on July 26, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Well one important thing we are not considering now while capturing airspace and sure we will come down to it in due it. Issue will be local birds. If drones fill the sky, how wil local birds be safe from it.

  42. HEMP PASTE on July 26, 2022 at 8:45 pm

Become a "Taxi Droner".. This is the future. Droner means to drone or to fly.

Cars or drones crashing into the windows of your buildings will be common. Earlier we saw one 9/11, tomorrow there will be many. Government should consider the hazards too. Drones can be misused. It will be very much difficult to regulate everything in air as we even find it difficult to regulate traffic on road.

  45. Samessa on July 26, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Absolute load of bollocks . This crappy tent show was erected in Coventry and promptly taken away again . There is no way that this technology is ever going to be allowed to operate over populated areas . Flying Taxis are essentially scaled up load carrying Quadcopters that will drop like stones if there is any malfunction . I could list numerous reasons why this is nothing but an empty PR exercise . There has to be some tax payers money to be skimmed off in this fiasco ..
