How do we get our hands on your study guide??

  2. Pyrock on September 11, 2021 at 10:51 pm

Studied for just two weeks via RemotePilot101.com and passed with an 80%. Yes, I should have done better but for two weeks and a $100 LIFETIME membership with RemotePilot101.com, I couldn’t be happier!

I am NOT currently a drone U member but I definitely would become a member if i can become "Drone U Certified" or "Drone U Elite" as it would get me potential business. I am already approved by IACRA I think your "Drone U Elite" program is a great idea as it can return $ to the subscriber as opposed to just "value of info". I am in South Central PA. zip 17225 and am also interested in knowing if you guys have an East Coast base of operations? thanks so much guys..

Paul – I got that exact question on civil twilight wrong myself. Same answer. I passed, but that was ‘FAA frustrating!’

took mine yesterday, got a 92. Had some things on there I didn’t know. I missed 5 out of 63.

Actually, civil twilight is not 30 minutes prior to sunrise. It is listed separately in almanacs and all resources, therefore must be looked up separately. It is typically 25-35 mins prior, so waiting 10 minutes to fly is flat wrong, while 20 minutes is the conservative and always true answer.

Dude, if my score was the same as my birth year, I wouldn’t even pass… 😛 (14CFR) #Part107

so I’m taking my 1:07 on Monday now that I’ve heard your question you got wrong in regards to Civil Twilight I too would have put 10 minutes so now that I’m going to remember if I get this question that it’s 20 minutes what are the chances that this gets corrected by then?

I read earlier this week that out of the 3000+ people that have taken this test over the past 3 weeks, 86% have passed. That’s REALLY good considering how difficult it was. I couldn’t afford to pay for any study guides since I’m pouring all of my extra money into getting my business off the ground, (pun intended) and I still passed. Everything you need to pass this test is readily available online, including a multitude of tutorials on YouTube….which explain in great detail how to read and decipher sectional charts, METARs, TAFs, etc. Study study study….this test is not easy folks, but it is easier, if you put your mind to it and learn what you need to learn. Good luck everyone!
