What happens when you fly a DRONE towards an AIRPORT?

Today I fly my DJI Mavic Mini towards the FRZ (Flight Restriction Zone) of an Airport to demonstrate what happens… so YOU don’t have to.

This is an educational video to show DJIs safety features in action.

DO NOT fly your drone inside an FRZ without first contacting ATC to obtain permission well in advance. There is nothing big or clever about flying drones, quads or other unmanned aircraft in controlled airspace, at altitudes higher than 400ft or near airports. If you do, you’re a dick.

Lets keep the skies safe and not have the media and the law on our backs.
Don’t fuck it up for everyone else.

Disclaimer: This UAV flight was conducted safely and legally within the Enhanced Warning Zone at Guernsey Airport (GCI) at a quiet time of day for the airport when there were no other aircraft in the area or due to take-off or land. Any questions or concerns about the safety and legality of this flight can be emailed to me at the address in the About section of my channel.

The Altitude Zone that I encountered on a previous flight coincided with the Guernsey Battle Of Britain Memorial Airshow.

Fly safe.

What do you think about the rumours of a new Phantom 5 / Phantom V ?

Air smeg one, you are free to land on runway two! 😎

This is proof that all that talk about a drone flying over Gatwick was complete and total BO//@ÂĢ$……!

Unless it was a parrot, or an Evo, etc ðŸĪŠ

Did you know that a Cadburys boost is slightly rippled with a flat underside ..

Hey sir I’m wondering what if you flew the drone without connecting it to the mobile phone…Now it doesn’t have any idea about the restriction zones, right?

Interesting! Thanks for testing that out. I’m a new DJI flyer, so this is now relevant to me.

For the past year, I had flown only an Evo 1, but thanks to Kelly from Ready Set Drone, who recently gave me his old Mavic Zoom as a consolation prize for almost winning the song contest, I’m lucky to be in the DJI club.

I doubt most airports would even let you bring drones through the metal detectors

Nice video sir! The Mini always surprises me when it comes to wind. It handles it pretty well.
