Hi Dylan, Thanks for featuring my channel & answering my question. In answer to didn’t use ND filters. The filters I had for the DJI spark were terrible & would never stay in place or resulted in major gimbal wobble when looking directly down. I do have a CPL & ND’s for the Phantom Advanced. Thanks for the constructive criticism on the video, I need to get back to some decent locations soon.
    Thanks again. Greg

Wow, I swear Dylan…you must be physic. You answered some questions I haven’t asked yet but was prepared to. This was an eye opening video for me as I’m preparing to take a couple of courses on videography. I’m especially glad I have the P4P now because ofd the reasons you mentioned. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the Ron Jeremy background music. (Chicka- chicka-pow-pow) I’m just saying……Kleetus

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” – Benjamin Franklin. Dylan I loved your statement on pricing. Too many people will sell themselves short out of fear of missing a job.

#mail – All cameras on deck.  As I’m currently drone less (sold my Spark, have an Air on the way) I can’t test my question.  I need all camera’s on deck to get every 4K angle I can with a group of people sitting at a table.  Can I still use the Mavic Air as a stationary camera… by setting it up to record, then unhooking my iPhone 8+ to use it on a tripod to record another angle of video as well?  I’m assuming I can turn the drone video on and off with the remote and no phone attached… yes?

#mail Hi Dylan. I love a bit of video editing. One thing I struggle with is how to recover overblown sky. I’ve tried many different avenues but it always looks meh and artificial. Obviously I try not to get it overblown, use Nd filters and histogram when flying, manually set white balance, but sometimes there is a heavy cloud cover but it still very bright and you get is this dirty marshmallow instead of nice blue skies. What is your favourite technique for that?

  14. oleww50 on October 9, 2021 at 8:33 am

I like the usual background music! 😂

Dylan, the music…arghhhhh. However, well said words, especially on SD cards! I really need more than 1 😂

Nice talk on technical side of business , original music is better you have the volume low anyway so it’s most definitely in the background. Would like more chat about professional creative use of the drone camera for those who know a little about photography etc

How do you store your unedited footage? For example when you transfer video from your drone to your PC/Laptop. Do you leave your footage on your PC/Laptop or transfer it onto an external HD? Thanks #mail

  22. Ricardo Urroz on October 9, 2021 at 8:58 am

Good video but I have to agree with the music. It sucks! hehehee at least in this video hehe

  23. Ian May on October 9, 2021 at 9:01 am

#Mail Dylan, do you make a living with Ikopta alone along with your youtube channel or do you have to do other work to supplement your income?

  24. Jaylitton73 on October 9, 2021 at 9:02 am

Bummer you feel that way about the Mavic Pro. Have you seen my work with that little drone?
What are your thoughts on using a GoPro on a drone?

  25. Byron Eckhart on October 9, 2021 at 9:03 am

Thank you sir….if you want opinions about the music, well I rather like your original non-music with the occasional sound effect. But that is just me, I find the repeat of rhythm to be a bit distracting. But then again maybe I am slow and cannot process all the wonderful information plus the music. However, some scenes can be augmented with an occasional bit of it. So there you have it, an opinion from my brain, a veritable cornucopia of worthless knowledge!

  26. Marc Harvey on October 9, 2021 at 9:03 am

That’s a no to the music! A year, really?
