Using a Drone to Map your Prospecting Area

Using a Drone to Map your Prospecting Area

Drones are a tool that more and more prospectors have in their arsenal. But most prospectors still seem to use drones at their basic level, ie for pictures and video of the their trips as well as taking a look at what over the next hill. In this video I discuss how to use your drone to generate highly detailed maps of the areas that you prospect!! Think google earth but way more zoomed in and detailed. And the plus side is that these maps will overlay directly on google earth!

The best website for generating the drones mapping and plan and stitching together the map is probably Drone Deploy:

I learned this, but we are not aloud to dredge in the west. Because our public servants have put rules forth that does not allow us to dredge our own public lands. Oh look there was a crayfish in the shallows. Do you see it .
