What about US Government contracts, will they say you can’t use DJI on a contract with the US Government?

So much talk about hardware, and not much about software. One concern is what China is doing through their DJI apps.

it is a pity that DJI can no more buy high tech parts from teledyne flir. but there always been the high tech Embargoes.

    Interesting topic.
To throw a spanner into the cogs, with the current escalating conflict between Russia and the Ukraine and with what appears to be China siding with Russia, the USA and Aust will are looking at placing sanctions on Russia and China this could effectively block trade between our countries and be the "back door" to prevent DJI selling thier product in the USA. What are your thoughts on this

Dave, as of right now in Florida we have a list of 5 companies to choose from and we have to shelve all our dji drones in six months on Jan 1st. None of the companies we have to choose from can do what we need them to at about 3 to 4 times the price. It is a complete mess here. It’s a complete waste of tax payers money. One of the companies doesn’t even exist anymore. I am going to contact my state representatives and ask them what are their reasoning for this. Why just drones and not all technology from China? We use drones on different high risk calls for reasons so now this is also a safety concern of ours. Very frustrating.
