  4. Phil Anderson on December 17, 2020 at 9:57 pm

Steve I just ordered a Typhoon H. Next one is going to be a Mavic 2 pro. Thank you for all the knowledge you share in your videos. 🤗

  5. Pm Tips on December 17, 2020 at 9:58 pm

You really need to use a preflight check list on this drone, I would anyway.

  6. WildPhotoShooter on December 17, 2020 at 9:58 pm

Does anyone know what the battery duration / flight time is in 2019 ?

  7. Fotoshutter on December 17, 2020 at 9:59 pm

Do You have a problem with GUI getting into typhoon h? Their customer support sucks. Been a month cant get a hold of anyone figured you might have some in site on the errors.

  8. WAYNE GROS on December 17, 2020 at 10:00 pm

  9. WildPhotoShooter on December 17, 2020 at 10:00 pm

I see there is a Typhoon H Plus, with a flight time of up to 28 mins with C23 , they must be upgraded batteries and more expensive. http://yuneec.uk/index.php/products/typhoon-h-plus

You awesome guy! You rest my mind at ease with this video. I’m going to require a drone for work soon. I inspect rooftops and do home inspections.  I’m just doing my homework on what I need to acquire 107, registration, license etc. (commercial use) so I have some work to do. I liked the Typhoon because of the stability and  thermal camera available. (looks like a plug and play) Any other suggestions on a selection of drone and thermal cameras? I’m just keeping it easy and reasonable and see what the demands are till I get a little more into it.  Great videos my friend and keep sharing. Your friend from Arkansas!

  11. Doug V on December 17, 2020 at 10:05 pm

I would strongly recommend removing the camera before doing the compass calibration, to avoid undue stress on the gimbal motors. It snaps right off in a second or two, and slips right back on when you’re done. Happy flying!

  12. Nate Hull on December 17, 2020 at 10:06 pm

Great video! I may want to purchase this drone, based on watching your typhoon h videos!

Hey Captain! I knew you had a Typhoon of some flavor but didn’t know which one. Do you also have the H+? I got one last July on a splurge, fall in love kind of thing. Sat under my table until almost September before I could work up the nerve to fly it. As soon as it lifted off, I knew it was gonna be the easiest drone I had ever flown but it still intimidates the hell outta out of me. I even have the Yuneec YES plan and extra insurance on our home owner’s policy but I find myself reaching for the Fimi A3 or now the Mavic Mini when I go out the door. If it weren’t against the law, I’d get liquored up and see if that helped!😮 I have strobe lights on the back for orientation and it is so easy to see and tell what I’m doing with it but I cannot shake the shakes. I’m in a mell of a hess!😁😮

  14. rhampton1914 on December 17, 2020 at 10:08 pm

I purchased mine used from a guy a few towns from me..he flew it already…do i need to re-calibrate it all over? or can i just fly it…i haven’t flown it yet….

  15. Luni Lunifyd on December 17, 2020 at 10:10 pm

Hello Capt. D!!!! I can’t not express how much your videos has been an influence to what I do with flying a drone.. I bought a DJI Spark a few years ago . Now next week I’m going to get cert as a pilot. I’m in construction and love building. Now, I watched your reviews on many drones and I now have a choice…. Do I get the TyH or the Mavic 2 Z? Both have a great review and feature some amazing tricks.. I’m leaning towards the TyH for the size and waypoint feature where you can control the camera in a 360. Zoom would be great If I did inspections but I don’t.. My question to you is. If you had a choice which one would you pick between the M2Z and the TyH for flying over a project and sharing footage? (flight time is not in the equation!!!!!)

So, I have a TYphoon H, and wanted to give it a "first flight". This video seemed pretty exhaustive, so I was ready to go. However, before actually turning the thing loose in the wide open sky, I decided to moor the thing, and test it first. So, I laid down some bags of 22 ammo on the landing gear, and powered it up. Sure enough, the blades start at idle speed. Then I gave it just one tiny nudge up on the left joystick. And it jumped up in RPM. Then it jumped up again, and again…. It seems as if it were at FULL speed, and was seriously looking like it wanted to break it’s moorings and be loose in my office with me. (Did I mention that I did this test indoors?) I frantically pushed the left joystick DOWN and it did resume idle speed, but not immediately. I am now wondering, if I do this outdoors, without any restraint, if I give it one simple nudge on the left joystick, is it going to shoot straight up into the sky and be gone? Serious question.

hey Cap Drone!! my typhoon h videos are being recorded choppy and glitchy whenever something moves in the frame but if i record where theres nothing happening the video is fine. is this my drone? or camera? let me know if you ever heard of this issue also we are big fans

  18. RCMods on December 17, 2020 at 10:13 pm

Hello, my typhoon h tilts to one side when starting to fly it. So from the ground, instead of going straight up it tilts and I have broken a prop. Do I need to set the trim or is there something wrong with it?

  19. LifeInRC on December 17, 2020 at 10:15 pm

Thank you for all the videos as they’ve greatly helped me out. I found a Typhoon H on sale for $500 including the skyview goggles and backpack the drone and gear is in very good shape. Is it worth to invest on this at this time or should I look for something else?

Can’t watch video my internet randomly started lagging out when I clicked your video

  21. MikeChaser on December 17, 2020 at 10:16 pm

I have purchased the Yuneec Typhoon H and it is AWESOME! Have not had any problems accept I had to re-calibrate the compass on it.
Definitely great for beginners of how still this thing sits in the air!
The gimbal is very officiant and holds very well in the speed of the aircraft

Hi i have the new H3, it would be nice to do a video on this , the layout is different from The H

  29. Realography Studios on December 17, 2020 at 10:24 pm

I bought the Typhoon (i don’t know which model it is….how do you tell?) about 1 year ago. I promptly crashed it, and after #$700 of repair, I have it back. Of course, now I’m scared to death the fly it. I enjoyed this video, and just wondered if you have a follow on? I’m a professional Real Estate Photographer in Tampa, Fl, and many of my customers want some drone shots, so I need to be able to do this. The feature that intrigued me when I bought it is the function that lets you set way points and then just tell it to go ……..it should go to the waypoint, let me take a picture, and move to the next, etc. Seems like a waste after I got it. It was immediately obvious that the battery spent during the process of setting waypoints was useless. I could have just flown to the waypoints, taken my shots, and been done. I do want to see other videos about flying it and actually using the features (like using the magic want, circle about a point, etc) would be very useful. I can find a lot of videos but they seem to be unboxing and useless stuff like that. What do you recommend?

Captain Drone, would you please answer this question?
Which drones come with a viewing screen in the controller and has a 3 mile range?
The only one I can find is the Autel Evo excluding DJI.
    Your time is appreciated!

Close to 3 years old this video is, however, still excellent information. Would love to see you make a Yuneec Typhoon H plus video (getting started) . I am not sure if you would do the commercial Yuneec H520. Any who, I check your channel most days for new video. Blessings to you, and yours …

Questions, I have been flying my Typhoon H for about a year now. I just noticed the last couple of times I flew it, when I turn the yaw left or right the drone reverses as it turns instead of just spinning in place. Have you ever experienced that? Any ideas?
