Get a sport pilot license and pay $5000 for a used airplane – think of the money you’ll save

Where will you park these damn things? The whole ownership life cycle has to be thought through. Tourism? You mean several thousand of these destryoing the peace and quiet? The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  5. Cosmicice1 on June 6, 2022 at 7:02 pm

I like the Skyairbus for tourism, however if you take two engines off of it and make it so they pivot for forward reverse, and make a two seater Hellicopter you will sell the hell out of it.

At 6:14 Prototype "Eagle" created lift but it’s designe was flawed
because your housing restricted it. PS my name is Luis not something racist.

great idea, crap we will never be allowed to own them.

How about a nonelectric hang glider or para sail? Something that doesn’t have to be plugged into the power grid to be charged! Under the right conditions you can stay up for hours and at times cover long distances. Plus they cost a LOT less than one of these plug in toys. Use less power and save some fossil fuels for the future generations.

Looks like an ugliness competition 😂 elegance doesn’t seem to be on the agenda! Just electric helicopters, nothing else, none of them can drive. The last one is acceptable in terms of design, at least.

  11. CyberCyborg 20XX on June 6, 2022 at 7:08 pm

The flight time on all of these is a deal breaker. This technology won’t ‘get off the ground’ until battery technology and electric motor technology evolves. Also the design of these are so primitive. Maybe in 10-20 years it will be the time of electric flying vehicles but now is not the time sorry to say.

  12. Aaron A on June 6, 2022 at 7:10 pm

No matter how they do it no matter how futuristic they look, as long as they keep using propellers they will be inefficient and noisy.

Only fly to 15 to 21 minutes.. SMDH

In 50 years int the future, People will see these videos like we see 1920’s first helicópters

  20. Terry Johnson on June 6, 2022 at 7:16 pm

Do these people realize I can buy a plane cheaper and fly further than they can who ever pays them $200,000 for either one of these plane just to fly for 15 minutes that’s crazy and a damn shame to ask for that much money for 15 minutes of flying time

  21. AG Sergio on June 6, 2022 at 7:16 pm

15 minutes flight time…. so on a flight from London to Australia we would only need to recharge it 96 times … lol

  22. Enermax Stephens on June 6, 2022 at 7:19 pm

    not available for individual sale

  23. DarthDuress on June 6, 2022 at 7:19 pm

A personal aircraft would be available for individual sale. Remove those that aren’t and replace them with those that are!

Do the math – Lilium is vaporware: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilium_GmbH. I think that Volocopter is among the promising and serious projects – and not that far from a viable product.

  33. Betta Aquascape on June 6, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Can we stop calling large drones or planes that can drive.. flying cars.. it’s not a car

  34. Menno Poelsma on June 6, 2022 at 7:37 pm

The V tol technoligy can be robosized by 5g much better then electric cars du,ll you can not bump into things in air must less. More space in all dimensions. So you can create a world sized covered network by membership and lower the costeds. So transportion more out of the private sphere into the public sphere is the future I think. Because les roads are needed and less input into the invirement.

  35. GARY MCCANN on June 6, 2022 at 7:38 pm

I am not interested in a taxi, but if I can buy one for a reasonable price then I would. These start up companies are really stupid not marketing to individuals. Many people spend 100K plus for a personal aircraft.

  36. Muhammad Bari Akhdan on June 6, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Heyy can u share all the vtol aircraft list that you share in the beginning of the video please

  37. Martin Winlow on June 6, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Why, oh why, oh why do so many of these aircraft insist on having their extraordinarily (potentially) dangerous rotors a kneecap-level (or small errant child neck-level)? What is the issue with putting them safely 2m above the ground? Someone?

  38. Kal2019 on June 6, 2022 at 7:41 pm

As long as those vehicles have exposed/noisy rotating blades or super noisy jets, not to mention such short range, they are all impractical and primitive for this day an age. lol the last one is totally ridiculous n embarrassing 🙁

My favorite is the Hexa since it is available for purchase by the individual public. Rich individual public, but public none-the-less.

Not really cars are they? They’re quadcopters or drones. Shall we start calling shuttles space cars?
