Thanks for the video very informative. Is there a reason that you keep the blades on when you travel with the drone? I always take my blades off when not in use, is that bad?

  2. William Duncan on May 31, 2022 at 6:48 pm

Super stupid video. These accessories are absolutely needless, except for the battery, the charger and the memory card.
    1. The case: it can be useful, but to be honest, you won’t be throwing your drone around with that case anyway. It doesn’t make it easier and more convenient for travel as it is quite sizably voluminous.
    2. Leg extenders and landing pad: absolutely needless. You can easily take off with one hand while holding the drone with the other hand. The drone is pretty accurate on the landing spots by default.
    3. Camera hood: it just makes no sense. You won’t be able to turn the gimble around (left and right) and overall it will only limit the light coming in fairly little.
    4. Controller hood: this can be useful if your device’s screen brightness is moody.
    5. Camera mount: this is ridiculous. The drone already comes with a professional camera. The mounted camera captures the propellers, it’s not stabilised (no gimble) and it makes the drone super heavy and less aerodynamic.
    6. The thing that you put on the sticks is as well super stupid for obvious reasons.
    7. When choosing an SD card, what the important is that the write speed is high. 4K and 8K footage will be fine on low-end cards if you record at lower FPS. I would really recommend at least 100Mb/s.
8: Spare gimble protector: you can buy one when (if at all) you break the stock one. I have never broken a gimble protector in my life and if you are bit less careless, you won’t too.
    9. The dji bag doesn’t protect the drone from the weather. Believe me when I say it. It would if it was waterproof.
    10. Battery bag: you can simply wrap the batteries around the clothes that you carry in your bag. This will keep them fairly warm if you carry the drone at temperatures below -5C. Unless it gets over 45C in your area, you don’t have to worry about the battery being too warm. It’s usually warmer when you take it off after a full flight anyway.
If you want to go a step further, use aluminium foil instead.

Just got my drone, this was interesting, liked and subbed.

  11. Squirrel talk on May 31, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Actually these are not "must" have items. These are optional accessories. Does language matter? I guess not. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Firdaus BJ on May 31, 2022 at 6:59 pm

You need one more accessory. An arm for Pizza delivery

  13. Yellow Rose Drones on May 31, 2022 at 7:00 pm

I tried the top mount for a camera last weekend. Blocked the GPS causing the drone to drift and the built-in wifi signal from the DJI Osmo Action camera appeared to interfere with the control signal. Plus the extra 8.5 ounces over loaded the drone and it wanted to go into landing mode.

  14. Jim Bettes on May 31, 2022 at 7:00 pm

You are a real goof ball. You seem to love to hear yourself talk.

  18. OofMart on May 31, 2022 at 7:05 pm

  19. Vallero Graphics on May 31, 2022 at 7:06 pm

  21. Louis McCluer on May 31, 2022 at 7:08 pm

I apologize, I just saw this video. Can somebody tell me what company he is saying to buy all these accessories at? I have hearing problems and can’t make it out. I’m thinking DJI but can’t find them. Getting ready to get a Mavic 2 zoom to use for checking roofs for hail damage, and assisting local law enforcement on searches, suspicious activity etc. Worked over 35 years in law enforcement. I’m disabled now, so can no longer work, so just wanting to help. Thanks a lot, love the video.

  22. E.M. Matthews on May 31, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Rather than remove the props, or use the clips, you could always just use an inexpensive rubber-band.

  23. David on May 31, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Where are the links to all Drone Accessories you just spoke of?

  24. Jordan m on May 31, 2022 at 7:10 pm

Nice video. How much is the cheapest follow me drone?

  25. 20DDan on May 31, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Does Canada limit the drone functions with gps? Meaning goes into ce mode instead of FCC mode?

  26. RemyRAD on May 31, 2022 at 7:12 pm

That flat black lens hood makes an awful lot of sense. And will play a multifaceted role. In that, it ain’t just a, lens hood. It ain’t just protecting from, optical flares. It’s also protecting from, solar flares.

So not only does it provide some additional protection to the gimbal. While reducing optical lens flares. It looks to me. I think. Because I’m an engineer. Therefore I be.. That, it’s providing an additional infrared protection from, the son. On a hot cloud free day. And reducing the operating temperature of those CMOS cameras is important. If you want them to last a while. They don’t like to get overly crispy fried. And I would use it for that purpose alone. As, I like fixing things. But I don’t like fixing things. If I can put things off to fix. And/or spend money needlessly. And so that is some inexpensive protection. A condom for your gimbal. Perfect! And a nice black one no less. I never knew you were that way?

When I grow up I want to be a MavicPro. Who would want to be number 2 ? I mean the new one is not MavicPro Too or, MavicPro Also. It’s plainly, number #2. For people that want to. Or for people that want, two. Or just want to 2. Which ain’t number 3. Or you can call me Tony. Or you can call me Tony.

    I have 7 batteries 😳😳

  37. Andrew Nicholas on May 31, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Beware when mounting additional camera, lights ECT. Your battery life drops drastically. I mean like you will go from having 27 minute flights to 12 minute flights. BE AWARE!!! 🤑🤑🤑

  38. Kevin Graham on May 31, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Not saying I am against the landing gear height things or whatever they’re called LOL but I think every drone pilot really needs to learn how to hand catch and hand launch not saying do it all the time but know how to do it because it really comes in handy sometimes

  39. Dennis Kucan on May 31, 2022 at 7:34 pm

U complained about flight time on your drone now u hook up a go pro in top to make it heaveir do less fly time…wtf

  40. roundcornerent on May 31, 2022 at 7:36 pm

  47. Geoff Fisher on May 31, 2022 at 7:41 pm

AT 8:00 Sorry to tell you, but this, is PLASTIC!….. Unless of cource, they now, have "TRANSPARENT" metal! Puts the other things you said, into Doubt!
Also, at 9:45, try "ELASTIC BANDS", instead, Much cheaper! One other thing, at 10:50, its a "REMOTE CONTROL", NOT, a "Drone". I am getting a bit worried about you now. How’s your "Brain"? A little bit of "Dementia" creeping in, maybe? So sorry, let me know, where, and when, you next fly your Drone, I will keep, WELL MCLEAR!
One last thing, at 11:20, (about the "Lens Hood") no, you can fly up to your Drone, to attach it, as long, ofcource, it’s not any higher, than 400 Feet, hire a Hellicoptor, to fit this!
