I’ve tried the DJI goggles and they made me feel weird…uh…down there…kinda like when you’re in a high place. I’m generally out flying by myself so I can’t use ’em anyway but they sound intriguing for watching TV.

  10. Dr. Steele on September 5, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Come to Springfield ga. I will help you master that drone!!

  26. Manny G on September 5, 2021 at 11:32 pm

As a photographer who pilots BOTH. GPS Consumer/Prosumer Drones (DJI) are easier because you can take your time and if you panic you can LITERALLY let go of the controls and hand them over to a better pilot and you’ll be fine. A hobby grade quad is MUCH faster and does NOT hover as independently as a GPS Consumer/Prosumer Drone. I think I have figured out what to call this…. CONTROLLED FALLING. Once you get that in your mind its a bit easier to explain to others HOW a race quad flys.

  27. Pierce Bernard on September 5, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Jesus man you gotta spend some time on that simulator some more. Gonna loose your drone

  28. Florida Wildlife on September 5, 2021 at 11:35 pm

    Photography Drone: you guide it,
    FPV Drone: You fly it

  30. BOB on September 5, 2021 at 11:36 pm

I run 4s and it’s plenty of sauce for me. Lower camera tilt, and Re-lax. I used to be so stressed on the sticks now I can fly somewhat casually and have fun!

  31. Florida Wildlife on September 5, 2021 at 11:39 pm

I need those thumbgrips! Got a link? Love all your vids and the LIVE weekly shows!

  32. John Long on September 5, 2021 at 11:41 pm

Hahaha… I saw him flying with his thumbs.. not pinching as you showed in another video

  33. jacob signorino on September 5, 2021 at 11:43 pm

its hilarious watching you fly fpv, cause im what you are at fpv at flying at flying dji lol

  34. Me Fix Engines on September 5, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Lower your camera angle to slow you down a little and practice practice practice. Do not use a simulator as a replacement. Use a simulator just like a game because they’re not as accurate when it comes to physics of an actual quad.

  35. smoberdeen on September 5, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Sorry…I can’t take anything you say or do serious anymore ever since I watched the traffic stop. You passed two vehicles at once and the LEO caught you fair and square speeding. Your excuse was the car was weaving so you passed it because you were hit by a drunk driver before and spent time in the hospital. You even posted a picture of the crunched car as proof. You were driving around with the wrong registration in your car and again blamed it on the accident. Here are the problems I have with your story. The radar clocked your speed. You passed the other vehicles so you were obviously going faster than they were (speeding). You said you passed the vehicle because the driver was weaving and you suspected the driver was drunk. The picture of you crunched car had significant rear-end damage. Does this make sense to you? You suspected the driver was drunk so you passed them? Why? So another drunk driver can hit you from behind? Then, you made some dumb comment about the LEO judging you because of your tattoos (they associate tattoos with felons in prison). You even called the LEO some name. It’s time you grow up and be responsible. Sneaking a transmitter into a facility concealed in a purse shows the viewers you know you were breaking a law when you flew the drone up to the window in the gold ball (whatever the place is -World’s Fair or Olympics). But hey; you have 110K subscribers and a speeding ticket. Now there’s an idea for the next tattoo…a speeding ticket! LOL Keep the videos coming it’s good to see people having fun.

  36. el xero on September 5, 2021 at 11:47 pm

"Dude I do not wanna fly this"….dude you were never really flying to begin with lmao…ypu guys are doing okay but maaaan do yall need practice lol.

  37. j on September 5, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Jesus this dude literally is running crossfire but can barely fly the thing

  38. ODFPV on September 5, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Take off the auto level. Youre cheapening the expierence for yourself.

  39. Swip FPV on September 5, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Very fun to watch! Glad to see you are getting into FPV. I recommend lowering your fpv camera and go pro to an angle of 10°-20°. If you are struggling with throttle control, I recommend going into betaflight and scale your throttle to 75% this will scale the entire throttle band and give you more control

  40. Bill14886 on September 5, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Ken if I ever get the chance to go out to Tennessee again to see family I’ll hook up with you some how some where. I’m 60 years old and have been FPVing for years. JOSHUA Bardwell should be able to hook you up with something more stable . You certainly dont need 6S .LOL. once you get trimmed out and tuned well you’ll do much much better. Good luck . I enjoyed that.LMAO

  41. Appocalypse on September 5, 2021 at 11:51 pm

In case no one has called this out before. Your DJI drone is doing all that same things as this fpv drone is. It’s just doing it differently.

For example, the left stick. When you throttle up your mavic it goes up. When you throttle up the fpv drone, it accelerates in the direction the props are facing.

This is because the mavic is using a combination of a barometer, gyro, accelerometer and gps to convert your throttle inputs into "drone goes up", "drone goes down". In reality, all you’re doing is making that motors spin faster or slower you rise or drop.

Moving forward or backward: when you fly your fpv drone, you plan it forward with the right stick, then accelerate with the left stick. When you move forward with your mavic, you hold the right stick forward and the drone limits how far forward it rolls, allowing the props to pull that drone forward slowly. If you also throttle up, you’ll go faster while also climbing.

  42. Craig W. on September 5, 2021 at 11:52 pm

Thank goodness no one had a seizure during the filming of this video 👍

  43. Manny G on September 5, 2021 at 11:52 pm

ALSO Practice, Practice, Practice AAAAND don’t be scared to crash… Its difficult to unlearn your crash prevention as a photographer and learn the art of "Holy SHIT I’m losing it!!! and Holy SHIT I lost signal i’m gonna disarm and crash somewhere that i can recognize and go retrieve it!

  44. Hazique Nefael on September 5, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Give me that if you hat it, man.

  45. Kay H on September 5, 2021 at 11:54 pm

I rub a little bacon on the top of my drone. My hounds take me right to it. A little old-school tracking in a new age. LOL

  46. Timmy Drones on September 5, 2021 at 11:55 pm

So much better than a gps I remember when I thought I could fly a camera drone. Now I really fly

  47. Jeremy Thornton on September 5, 2021 at 11:56 pm

CAMERA TILT CAMERA TILT CAMERA TILT CAMERA !!! Oh wait and one thing…. Tilt the god damb camera down as much as possible otherwise HELL HOPPN AND STAIRING AT THE FLN MOON

  48. Skywakka FPV on September 5, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Your videos are too funny, i recognized you from joshua bardwells mavic mini video. I don’t think i laugh as hard at any other videos on youtube. Subscribed :p

  49. Beast Infection on September 6, 2021 at 12:00 am

Stick time is all you need man. You’re doing great, just practice practice practice. You’ll get better. Someone else suggested looking into different rates, getting a 4s battery, both are good tips. I’d say play in the Sim until you feel like a Sim God, then get a bunch of real world stick time. If you wanna spend some more money I’d suggest a toothpick drone. They’re super small and light, so crashing doesn’t hurt them or your wallet as much, and you can fly a little more aggressively

  50. Jeramboo on September 6, 2021 at 12:00 am

How is he using crossfire and loose signal so fast?
