Greetings my friends.
A month ago, the Pentagon boasted of having the latest miniature drone that will enable it to carry out reconnaissance missions on the modern battlefield.
This is the most stealthy drone of the helicopter type Black Hornet 3.
And obviously, the US military decided to test it in Syria.
Recently, in the north-east of Syria in the province of Hasaka near the city of Tal Tamr, where the presence of the American military is observed, the soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army were able to capture one model of stealthy drone Black Hornet 3.
Syrian soldiers caught it with the help of the electronic warfare system, intercepting its control.
In the picture, you can see how the Syrian soldiers are showing their trophy, which they received intact.
Now, the United States is worried that the Syrians will hand it over for study to Russia or Iran, as a result of which secret American technologies will fall into the hands of the enemy.
My friends, The Black Hornet 3 mini-drone is used by US Special Forces units for local reconnaissance.
This spy drone is also called (PRS), the personal reconnaissance system. It was created by the Prox Dynamics group, which became part of FLIR Systems in 2016.
The length of stealthy drone Black Hornet 3 is only 15 cm.
The Black Hornet 3 mini-drone is controlled by a military operator, using a special tablet. For navigation, Black Hornet 3 is using a GPS.
Also, Black Hornet 3 can automatically return to the launch point.
The drone has two cameras, one of which is thermal imaging, that is, the drone is capable of operating at night. When using special communication nodes (docking stations) Black Hornet 3 can be combined into “swarms” of up to 8 units simultaneously.
The cost of one kit, which includes two miniature drones, is about $ 200,000.

    Good for Russia 👍,, hahaha

  7. J B on July 20, 2021 at 12:19 am

I don’t think they captured it. I belief it was flown right to them. That way it would make it’s way into the Syrian hq. I’m guessing planned.

Yeah, it’s pretty well a given that the unit has been passed over to Russia and Iran. It’s what happens when you operate in a country uninvited….

  11. P B on July 20, 2021 at 12:24 am

Lol, and they have the one handed controller and transmitter/screen also… looks like fake to me.

  12. HDHQDIRECT on July 20, 2021 at 12:24 am

Just look at that pathetic thing… Only the US government would pay 200k….cause the money just lines the pockets of their friends with kickbacks…

My $300 drone does everything Black Hornet does except thermal infrared imaging. Theirs costs $200k. Nice to be part of military industrial complex. Anyone doubt why US will fail? Bankruptcy just around the corner. If not for reserve currency US would have gone the way of Soviet Union.

    Very good syria

  16. F P on July 20, 2021 at 12:27 am

It’s made in Sweden not USA first used by British shoulder. Pls America bomb Syria back to the Stone Age. They kill and butcher their one point. Try capturing a reaper.

what are you al babbling about? this tech is easy to manufacture in China. Man every little "accomplishment" has to be exaggerated by you uh?

  18. Roger Smith on July 20, 2021 at 12:27 am

SERIOUSLY, if you guys can copy the technology and replicate it. I will buy it in U.S. Dollars. Please contact me when you guys are going to sell it on the open free market.

This is all a red herring. These drones are the cover story. The real Special Forces recce drone is the size of a mosquito, and can kill people by injecting poison.

  21. Salaudin Ayobi on July 20, 2021 at 12:29 am

Pakistan steal stealth helicopter technology from US. Iran steal stealth and globle hawk drone technology from US. And now syria do it. Its all benefits for Russia and china.

  22. Ramses Dizon on July 20, 2021 at 12:32 am

The chips that run these drones were designed by a Malaysian company who’s top executives went missing on a airline flight who’s location is missing to this day. Then suddenly taken over by the Rockefeller’s. The missing plane who supposedly crashed but was never found. This is how America gains intellectual property.

  25. Don Sonny on July 20, 2021 at 12:35 am

Nothing special or revolutionary about these mini drones , they have a few advanced features like mini IR camera and homing system but nothing any advanced industry couldnt produce certainly Russia could or possibly already has such drones in inventory

  26. smokinhabanas on July 20, 2021 at 12:37 am

YAWN the next three generations of this drone is now moved up!! They are expendable and the cycle of innovating deploying and improving goes on. Just part of the game

Why didn’t it have a self destruct mechanism?

  35. Mikhail Alexandrovich Rimsky-Korsakov on July 20, 2021 at 12:44 am

Privet my Comrades! Give that drone to Sukhoi Company and let them add 3D Thrust Vectoring using mini Jet Engines used for Model Jets (chase that Padanok F-35/22 easy…maybe its fast enough to kickstart mini ultra-scramjet), EMM mini-suite, Microwave Networking with other SU-MDrones working with AI in harmony scanning for Enemy Stealth Jets, Mini Laser-guided Directed Energy Pod (to disable AWAC electronics and any Enemy Assets with Electronics such as Ships, AESA Radars, Missiles and even ICBMs) and in front a 4KT Nuclear Warhead to strike, well, any enemy asset from Carrier Command Towers, Jets, Tanks, Amphibian Invasion Vehicles, Army Engineers Bridges, Terrorist Hiding Places and of course when captured by enemy…self-destruct with NO piece of Russian Tech to steal and certain guarantee no other SU-MDrones shall EVER be captured again! Entire Mini Drone about 40% larger than one in video, but paint some SU-57 Stealth paint on it! 😉

    до свидания!
Commander Mikhail Rimsky-Korsakov (Есть ли что-нибудь, что мы, Русские не можем сделать? 😉 )

  37. Teddy Hailey on July 20, 2021 at 12:46 am

China would love alittle taste of that and have it mass produced for all the communist blocks… lol

  38. dan on July 20, 2021 at 12:46 am

Holy f*ck. This is ridiculous. Probably isn’t worth that much if FLIR can’t even design EW resistant comms.

Here’s how I would design the things’ comms:
    1. I would use narrowband phase shift keying with adaptive rate FHSS (frequency hopping). The FHSS would be coordinated by a NLFSR (non-linear feedback shift register) where members of the link would use a randomly generated state.

    2. The above state would be communicated over a NORX (as opposed to AES) encrypted data link. NORX uses much less power, and is faster than AES, allows for flexible security/data rate, is scalable, is an AEAD (has encryption and authentication) cipher, while having the sponge construction security proof. NORX is awesome.

    3. I would introduce an encrypted local positioning system to the drone. I read a paper a while ago about an RTC for FPGA’s (and you could do it in xMOS too) with 7 picoseconds of accuracy. According to the speed of light, this gives a theoretical accuracy of about 2.09mm. This would supplement GPS (or replace it even) and be extremely resistant to EW. In addition using a two-way ToF approach in combination with machine learning, you could avoid use of bulky, expensive CSACs (chip-scale atomic clock).

    4. Use machine learning to pull signals out of the noise floor. This will provide jamming resistance to drones even if an adversary were to jam the entire spectrum.

    5. Leverage multipath interference to reconstruct signals. The jammer will have a different pattern than legitimate operators due to its spatial isolation.

    6. In case the main data link disconnects, use sensor fusion with the IMU/TERNAV/old radio positioning data/wind vector drift estimations/and any other onboard sensors & measurements for return to home functionality. TERNAV might use a lot of power though.

You know what!? I’m gonna get myself a DoD contract. Frick this stupid drone.

Bwahahaaa haaaaa aaaaa now give it to the Russians for reverse engineering! Or the Chinese chortle chortle chortle!! Imagine the yank that was piloting it having to tell the Lt uh sir our drone got taken over by the Syrians………..
