And the average person driving their car is being monitored by how many cameras ?? ,,, all those camera operators would have to get permission from every car or person walking by ? Yup sounds logical to me lol

Who came up with the idea and script for this work of garbage? What sullen, insulting spew. Is this the best you could do? Pathetic to say the least…weak minded bullshit, scary that some folks think others give THAT much of a shit……..whatever..👍💯

  5. MindRider on September 3, 2020 at 10:53 am

Yeah…beware of the drone guy, while Facebook knows it all already….

  6. Fábio Lima on September 3, 2020 at 10:55 am

Whatever is the subject, you will always find people victimizing themselves and making that subject as something terrible and scary, really, whatever is the subject. And also media needs to find subjects to talk about and about drones the subject is treated like this. "DRONE GOO O EVIL? " 👹 😱 😂😂😂

  7. Alan South West UK on September 3, 2020 at 10:56 am

I really hope all those interviewed expressing concerns about the drone’s camera and possible infringements of privacy don’t own a cell phone with a camera. Jusat hate it when I’m snapped by accident and then put up on social media.

I think there are 2 options to address where a drone operator can fly. (1) Create a number of operator license levels from pure hobbyist to commercial pilot. Based on the level of licensing, the pilot has more or less electronic fencing. A child with a "toy" drone might be able, by default with no license, to fly within an envelope of 30′ high by 50′ radius. No matter the "size" of your fence, you must also understand the basic safety restrictions of FAA guidelines … not over people, not over traffic, below 400′, not in National Parks, etc. (2) You must get a location permit where the land owner can assess your qualifications and your mission and come to an agreement with you as to whether you can fly over his/her property, how and under what circumstances. Unfortunately, this needs careful consideration and some kind of rules need to be agree to. These are only 2 of many options that can come under consideration. Then, when implementation, there should be some kind of "3 strikes and you are out" gage on each pilot. First offense, a small fine. Second offense, a moderate fine. Third offense, license removal, a larger fine, and possible imprisonment. My preference is for option (1) as I feel responsible pilots will seek a better understanding of issues, safety and guidelines in order to gain more freedom. In some of the drone forums, it is scary to observe how many pilots ignore guidelines and feel the "wild, Wild West" approach works best. My fear is without more education and adherence to guidelines, drones will be a thing of the past due to extremely strict rules that clamp down on our freedom to fly.

I cant believe these critics. do they think you could get close enough to someone to spy effectively? with a phantom? or a mavic? you can hear them at a hundred feet up. what about google earth? cctv cams? cell phones? Are they concerned about privacy or just fearful of tech change? funny they seem ok with blowing people up with them but god forbid we like to film landscapes and the like. its kind of like parking your boat in the bay in front of someones cottage. sorry folks you dont own the water. or the airspace in this case. if you fly over your neighbors house to often your just an asshole not a criminal.

Americans have a right to do anything that doesn’t harm others or destroy their property.  F the FAA.

  11. Gravitron Rutherford on September 3, 2020 at 11:02 am

If someone is buzzing your private space w/a drone get another drone to follow that drone to see where it’s coming from.

  12. Howard Johnson on September 3, 2020 at 11:02 am

When I was in Germany it was fun to fly up and down rivers when it was warm just to see the young ladies sunbathing. No drone there.

  18. Xattack21 1 on September 3, 2020 at 11:07 am

Disappointing documentary…. I was looking for drone use on war and as a weapon for terrorists attacking USA territory….

  19. Dr Nik Rizal N Yusoff on September 3, 2020 at 11:07 am

I always fly in areas away from the people…..and stop flying my drone if more and more people are seen in that areas.

  20. Daveslow on September 3, 2020 at 11:07 am

I have however only had positive reactions by the public, especially old men and young kids, both love watching themselves on the screen from high up… But then again I don’t live in the United States of Crazy but in Germany 😀

  21. Robert on September 3, 2020 at 11:08 am

I think drones are beneficial for us I think people have too many things that they want to hide and drones would reveal it.

  22. Scott Kaluza on September 3, 2020 at 11:15 am

Walking out your bathroom lookout. You may be watched, you better not dare go out of your house. Walmart just an example. Cameras are everywhere on city streets etc. Not just in Banks any more people.

The drone is not going to go away; there are many other uses for the drone, so please stop only promoting the negative side the economic opportunities that the drone will great, especially for my own idea that will create wealth for so many people.

  29. James Darr on September 3, 2020 at 11:29 am

I fly my drone all around and there are two types of reactions from two very different types of people….The positive reactions are generally from nice, curious people who are just interested in the drone, and quite amazed by it…And I’m all to happy to answer their questions…The negative reactions generally come from shady people standing on the corners selling drugs,or breaking the law in some other way and fear I have recorded it….My opinion is like this, If you hate my drone cause your guilty and feel invaded,GOOD!!!! Maybe you should think about that BEFORE you break the law again,or worry that about my possibly exposing crime on public video…So now I’m supposed to STOP what I enjoy over guilty, fearful people who are afraid out of their OWN thinking, and want to focus on MY innocent hobby to feel better?????! Not a chance! A fringe benefit of this hobby is being ABLE to possibly expose criminals and crime even if by accident! Those people DON’T get to ban the tools that do that! I’M All TOO HAPPY to expose those people…"FREEDOM IS NOT FREE" for those that exploit and abuse it!

  33. Dan Hindman on September 3, 2020 at 11:33 am

a lot of the people statements were self contradicting… they like the fact that we fly to other country’s to invade their privacy but they dont like it when the same thing is haping to them… people are idiots. they dont understand their phone calls are also being recorded, also using Alexa, echo dot is also privacy intruding. wake up people!! drones are the least of your problems…

  39. Joe Perez on September 3, 2020 at 11:38 am

You people keep saying the same thing over and over again you are being video taped every day every where you go. Your ok with cameras you don’t even see all the time stop your crying like little children and grow up. You have not had privacy since the 80s . You are all ok with people with cameras that you can’t see and are mounted to every building and most houses. So stop acting like a 2 year old that can’t have their toy that mommy won’t buy you. It’s just an Excuse so people can’t have a Hobby
Maybe you prefer they are robbing your house or selling drugs in your neighborhood.

  40. Phil B on September 3, 2020 at 11:39 am

Once seen birds, we’ll see drones ??? I don’t mind drones but I don’t ever want to see a time where there’s no birds, that would suck, bird shit or not.

  45. Steve Eck on September 3, 2020 at 11:44 am

Wow!!!!! There is a lot of miss truths in this video.

  46. Theory of a StrawMan on September 3, 2020 at 11:45 am

Funny how people worry about people with drones spying on people but show no concern to Google earth and other video spy satellites or the Google vans that are filming your home and posting it on the internet for anyone to see.
