DJI Mini 2 is the best beginner drone. A baby could fly it, and it’s got some great software.
great video
Waiting on delivery of mini se fly more bundle.
Very helpful !! GREAT VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the commercial overhead talk is making me think that it’s just better to contract a drone vs buying one.
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks Jake
I am 74 years old and retired. My Drones are my toys. I have 6 of them. I am a channel supporter. Jake is great with Drones
Hi Jake, is there a drone, like the mini 2 that you don’t have to register, that has good hazard avoidance?
Get the mini 2 you will not be disappointed. It’s a freaking flying iPhone. It opens a whole new world.
Good
Hi Jake, thx for the vid. I’m a zero experience newbie looking to film some of my Backcountry discovery route motorcycle trips. Would you start with a cheaper DJI mini or do you think it would be a good idea to pay more and get something like the skydio? I do want to have the drone follow me when riding and with zero experience my biggest concern would be crashing and loosing the drone. Thanks for any thoughts.
Love your review and the scenery is not too bad!🤣 Use to live in Kodiak and I loved it there!
I’m headed out to King Salmon, Dillingham, and then Port Alsworth to get shots for an introductory video for a work project. I’m a little over my head here, but your advice is incredibly helpful. Thank you.
I have been looking at the mini for my first just for hobby and carry in my camera. After this I think it will work perfect for what I want
Should I wait for the mini 3? They say it will released in April 2022
Which one do you recommend ??? Air 2 or mini 2 for someone who loves to travel, dont fly drone often and need active track????
which one of these drones would be the best for a beginner who wants a drone for fun?
How far drone goes and once reaches limit does it automatically come back or shoes range limit
Hello Jake, thank you for this video. Currently I’m the proud owner of a DJI Mini2. I use it to shoot video of our windsurf adventures (YT: Windsurfing is a way of life). Unfortunately something happened last weekend and the drone felt in the water. We’ve dived for two hours but unfortunately we didn’t find it. I´m working with DJI on the flight information and hopefully they will send me a new one. Nevertheless I’m also open to invest in a ‘better’ drone. I would really like to have a better camera, the 4K60. With the Mini2 I noticed that slow motion footage is not so beautiful as the slow motion footage from my GoPro’s. Which drone would you suggest? Br, Léon
I’m a beginner An I just got the mini 2 An Iove it pretty easy An great for Vlogs
I appreciated your clarity about License and registration requirements. Thank you! Do yiu know about FCC requirements on our Radio?
Just what I needed, Thanks Jake!
The best drone for beginners is a $15 tiny drone with all around prop guards you can crash against the walls such as the EAchine E010 or H36. Because there are too many people who have no clue how to properly fly a drone manually.
I’m just about to order my first DJI drone. It’s 5/26/2022. HELP….Jake! 😊
Great video! I see lots of rumors for a mini 3, coming soon has me tempted to wait.
Love your videos. Learning alot. I am looking to get my first drone and the mini 2 looks like a best choice, but I need a beginner drone with follow me feature. What would you recommend?
I’m looking for my first drone for performing tree inspections. I need something that can get into tight spaces and take decent photos so we can asses tree safety without putting a person in the tree. I’m wondering if I need something with very good obstacle avoidance or if I need something with no obstacle avoidance and rely on my flying to keep it safe. Any thoughts on that? Also this was a great video, its the first I have seen of yours so I’m off to watch the others now! thanks
As a kayaker, I chose the spry+ for my first gps drone. I have enjoyed it so far.
15:49… woops not 100$🤣
How hard is it to get registered? Would buy the smaller on but we live where it gets very windy and cold. Want just for personal use around where we live out in the country. Believe it or not, Ames, Iowa is windy and very cold! Thank you January 26, 2022
I think my first will be the Air 2S, but mainly because I want a drone for aerial photography and that 1" sensor sounds good.
Hey Jake! I live in the north as well, only not so far up and on the other side of the border. How does the Mini work in the cold? I see you have footage of it in snow with blue skies – usually fairly cold. How about light snow storms? Many thanks for the incredible advice!!
$2000 for beginners? I can buy one for $20000, but since it will be destroyed in the first 2 days, I am looking to start with $300 drone as a start, then $500, once I get good $1000, $1500, $2000. I am not interested in anything beyond that. I shoot snakes and the drone is a big help, it will tell me where the snakes are.
Have you heard of the EXO drones or reviewed any?
Thanks 👍🏽🙂
I am considering getting a drone, my first one, and am considering the Mavic 2 Pro. I have some questions, anyone can answer and will appreciate all comments. How long does it take to learn to fly one at a decent level? How much post processing is involved and do you need special programs for that? Do you need to be in an open area / line of sight to maintain connection? Seems like there are numerous settings to choose from, is there an "automatic" setting, etc.
hey thanks for your insight
Dadgum, BEAUTIFUL country Jake, makes me miss Montana!
I got pulumo art drone for my first drone, easy for beginners, nice work,
Thanks for the excellent video. Very helpful for newbie. I’m wondering about the make and model of your kayak however. Wilderness Systems?
Unusual footage!!;)
How does the DJI Mavic Air Onyx Black compare? Assuming I am just going to crash and loose my first drone would you look for a used one or is that a no go?
What is the best website for the Mini 2?
Nine out of ten Drones Prefer Dragons Breath Shotgun Ammo, Shoot em down boys!!!! just your nazi USAF/ARMY spying on you
Perfect
These drones are all overpriced…
Best drone for beginners is drone for twenty bucks!
