I decided to make a list with some of the drones that fly at least 500m and I also sorted them by price. These drones are updated for the Year 2020, I’ll make one video like this every year, as new models come up all the time.
What are the advantages of long-range drones?
You can be more assured you have the space to do your thing and not be stressed about the range.
Signal strength in “interference situations” is better
It’s easier to follow a car or any object that drives away from you and still get a proper signal to your phone.

Mavic mini as lomg range drone?
You can only fly a drone that stays within your line of sight, So anything beyond 800 feet or around 244 meters unaided unless you have a specifically large drone with high reflectivity or bright colors. DJI drones specifically blend into the clouds and sky due to their coloring. Just because some youtube criminal is flying illegally and has so far gotten away with it, doesn’t mean you will.

You are so wrong. The Hubsan H501SS is seen on YouTube all the time flying up to 4km without a hitch. Cost about $300 for everything (no wifi crap needed). I do not like DJI because you buy an expensive unit and then they discontinue it and do not provide support. A gimmick to get you buying a new expensive model.

This is insane! The mavic 2 pro should be the best! It has omnidirectional obstacle avoidance! That’s what it’s famous for! It is the BEST and why didn’t u add the dji mini 2 !?
