Hey! Thank you much for this video. I have been wanting to venture into this and this helps a lot. I actually and going to reach out to my broker, because I am a realtor, and see if they have some commercial properties that might need aerial photos.

    Hi, cool content!

Do you do any 1 on 1 training? I wanted to pick your brain on somethings regarding photogrammetry. I’m a Haitian-American self-employed real estate photographer, videographer, and certified drone pilot in Boston, Ma. I’m looking into potentially getting into photogrammetry, but had a few questions about the field. I just started to do my research but could use a bit of guidance before I start reading articles and consuming too many youtube videos.

If you’re up to help, let me know and I can send you my email.

Thanks and keep up the great content and educate the public. I don’t see too many African Americans doing this type of work, then again maybe it’s just my area.

Dealing with a project manager is much better than dealing with a broker. A project manager may have multi projects for you to work on, while I have notice with broker, it a property here a property there, and if it not in the $500,000 or more price range you may have do more to get what you can get for a Commercial property

What drone and software do you use for survey grade mapping for contours? I was a licensed surveyor for 20 years but stopped due to MS. I feel that drones could give me back my surveying legs. Thanks Dave. Love you stuff! very professional.

Why would a land developer buy the service of a drone pilot when he/she could use Google Map or Earth?

  43. ILoveNorthConwayNH on August 4, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Thank you Taylor! I would like to add that, as a real estate broker, I tend to resist adding expenses. The owners of property are usually the true stakeholder that creates the demand. If a commercial landlord or manager wants aerial photos the broker will fall in line. As brokers gain traction with the images other brokers will need to stay competitive, so be sure to work the market.
