About me (the guy behind the cryptic three T’s):
my name is Tom David Frey. I’m half Swiss and half German and have lived in many fantastic places, from the United States to Israel. Somehow cool.
My age? Well, it rapidly changes. But you can surely do the math: I was born in 1992, somewhere in a small town in mid-Rhineland-Palatinate.
Now the relevant things you came here for: I have a strong passion for cameras and drones. I got my first Sony at the age of six and started my own business when I turned 18 (don’t ever let people tell you that you will not succeed; Live your dreams!).
Nowadays, I’m shooting videos in many countries. I have private clients as well as major companies I’m working with, f.e. Netflix. And everyone knows that one, right?
But, more importantly, I love to fly and shoot (video) with my drones. I’ve flown in so many countries already (China, Switzerland, the USA, Spain, Iceland, Israel, Germany, and plenty more) and love to explore the world from above in all its beauty.
That’s why my main business is all about drones. I capture the world from above. And I share my experiences, knowledge, and the best new inventions with you.
Drones and cameras excite me so much that I put a lot of time and hard work into creating my videos. And I love that you guys appreciate them!
Now, join me on my adventures and subscribe to my channel.
Stay tuned and fly safe!

The fine print quickly summed up 💻
Some of the links above are so named “affiliate links”. By using those, I can get a small provision for purchases you guys make. That way, I can stay true to you because I don’t need companies to pay me for creating videos. I’m independent and loyal to you – the best audience!
Therefore, if you purchase your gear through my links, I can keep up the honest work. 👏
The videos on my channel are property of Tom David Frey. Duplicating and re-uploading them without a written permission is prohibited. Sorry, guys, but that’s necessary. I work hard on my content and somehow need to make a living. Maybe instead share my videos, by spreading the link or embedding it to your websites or forums. But please, don’t steal my work. 😎
By law, I have to mark my video as a “commercial.” I herewith do so: this video is a commercial. Though I promise to be honest to you, my audience, all of the time. I like nothing less than fake reviews and videos that spread half-truths just for the financial gain of someone. I believe that being honest to you is much worthier in the long run than making quick money by spreading fake information. Truth rules! Don’t believe me? I already had to give up on two promising cooperations because the companies found my videos to be too honest. I call that my occupational risk. 🦾

Hey Tom…great video I own an insta 360 onex camera and saw that you recommended the pgytech mount. I’m reading reviews that mounting the camera with the adapter on top blocks the antennas and gps…did you experience this?
Heads up I think anyone that spends 800$ or more on a drone like me I’ll put this GPS tracker on it called Tile look in to it 👍✌
Er ist deutsch oder?
Sales channel , no review or comparison. What a shame. Just making money from subscriber base. In the past I had used your links to buy stuff – that won’t happen again.
Your dropping the quality of your brand to a just a "Commercial TV Channel". Mmmmh you are losing your cool Tom!
not bright color stickers but reflective stickers are great.
Just wondering do I need to off the WiFi of the insta 360 when mount on the drone ?
Was told the drone can not fly far due to the signal….thank sharing
Tom……………………………time to give up!
Clearly DJI sponsored. It’s basically a run down of their accessory catalogue …. not very inventive and you should declare your vested interest!
As a fellow M2P user I have nothing against DJI products but they are not universally superb and in some cases There is better out there.
You can use reflective stickers. I bought 3m black reflective stickers that only reflect when a light is shine on it. Then carry a flashlight.
Just don’t put the stickers on the front feet where the antennas are at.
Where to buy the gloves with 3 open fingers? I only found gloves with 2 open fingers
What brand of ND FILTERS do you recommend ?
Contrary to the "case is safe for long-term storage" implication, it’s not good to stick LiPo batteries in a case for an extended period – they need regular care and feeding. Just sayin’.
First great vide bro keep up the good work
Sorry Tom Iike a lot of your vidios and have been informing, I can handel a add but when you pile a bunch in the middle I lost interest. Just being honest but keep putting out content ill still watch
Must suck to be you and have to pay so much to charge your batteries that purchasing a car charger makes you feel like you charge your batteries for free.
Driving the Mercedes in front of the BMW dealership… Hahaha As a BMW owner, I’m offended. 😉
this is so idiotic, just affiliate links.
So it’s a video to tell you to go and look at Facebook. I get you are increasing traffic to your website etc but if we have decided to watch your vid at least give us your recommendations in the video
Hi is talking 2 much rubbish and it wont show any video
You are only advertising this web sides
👎👎👎
Thanks again Tom.
Your the best – UK
With the Insta360 One X, are you getting any interference?
Hi Tom, can you help me with the drone rules in Germany? I’m going to Cochem in April and I want to take my Mavic 2 with me… I’m from Holland and here we have a map for drones where you can or cannot fly. Thanks!
don’t focus camera on your face so close please!) not so nice view. voice is enough 😀
anyone notice how he looks like he is trying extremely hard to look geekish
Hardcase – nothing I did not know before.
And far worser: no M2Z + goggles racing hard case
Please donate me that drone
Awesome video! Great work editing.
wow you are a annoying…mindblowing that u keep referring to some old link in the text if people wanna know something as fundamental as price.
You do know that your video will be up for years and prices changes and fluctuate or links die and often it can be helpful for any viewers to sense a given price at a certain time and not drag viewers around on 2 3 or 4 different links just to be able to relate.
so just state the price in your video, for the item your talking about, no reason at all to keep that a secret for the viewer… annoying and stupid and congrats you landed a unsubscribe from here, as a channel that lack any sense of delivering basic facts so the viewers at least can put a given product into perspective.. is gone with the wind
Good video, just want to mention I’m pretty sure it’s called "laipou" not "leepou". But everything else is spot on, like your videos.
Hey tom, any comment on the latest news that DJI has been ripping off it’s customers by overcharging at least 20% on it’s products?
I’m 200. Good suggestion 👍
We bought the DJI Shoulder bag and I cannot safely fit the Mavic 2 Pro into it. Plus it doesn’t hold much else. I do NOT recommend it. Instead I will be looking for a good, hard case. I looked long and hard at ND filters and, fore the money, did go with Tiffen. They are a little more expensive but the build quality and glass just seems noticeably better to me and I use Tiffen for all our other professional shooting needs. LiPO bags are a good idea but we’ve been on commercial airlines without them with no problem. If you live a climate where it is cool to cold, yes, the gloves where you can remove the top part exposing the fingers are a good idea. Other than that, the other ideas here are…only OK. Sorry Tom just my professional opinion.
Hated all the advertisements. Would have been nice to have a clip if the 360 camera footage.
Little information here- just a continuous stream of adverts to buy through affiliate links…..
Thanks for making a list of all these great accessories. You made some very nice choices.
hi
Tom, you rock I very much enjoy watching all of your videos I’ve been somewhat inspired by you and your content to start my own YouTube channel if you get a second check it out keep up the great work thanks, Greg
On the gloves front ..I’d recommend buying shooting gloves like I use..the index finger folds back and sticks with velcro ( either left or right handed .( for the trigger )) the rest of the fingers remain covered but you still have one finger free for using on the screen 👍
Tom hows the on screen controler compare to the crystal sky ultra?
hardly in flame able
Did you fly your drone with the insta360 camera? I bought it and the mount you recommend and the gps was completely blocked but worse yet , the drone would only go up 30 feet.. then it said max altitude. I have heard it’s the mount and I have heard it’s the camera.. any ideas?
Great vid. Would have been nice to see an example of the 360 cam mounted on the drone in action.
More then 500 euro’s for a 360 camera, a smart controller costs a fortune also. Maybe you have unlimited cash, but I dont. In your video you make it look all so easy and nice, but it’s VERY expensive
מה הוא היה בישראל דה פאקקק שיבוא לתל אביב נארח אותו כמו שצריך
As always fantastic video footage.Well done Tom
Not really worth the time. I like you Tom…this was a waste.
