Sub-250g DJI 5-inch Racing! – How Fast Can it Fly?

Sub-250g DJI 5-inch Racing! – How Fast Can it Fly?

Drones weighing under 250 grams are typically exempt from certain regulations. The idea is lighter drones should be safer and slower… but we’ve found you can actually make them quite fast!..
Could one of these light weight 5in drones hold their own on a race track?

  10. hav2roll on May 2, 2022 at 6:32 pm

You should’ve gone with shark bite. You can’t race with DJI.

  15. subsonikfreq on May 2, 2022 at 6:37 pm

She’s flying my golden frame!!! I love that frame. My main build has been on that frame since I Built it. Going on a year and a half strong. Bought a second one. It’s just a nice frame. I second that.

  19. Jonathan Stanley on May 2, 2022 at 6:40 pm

  23. MAFIA FPV on May 2, 2022 at 6:46 pm

    Only here for Ryan🙏🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️

  24. b3autiful_framez on May 2, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Why is the sky flickering? So distracting

  25. robert george on May 2, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Ok, hear me out. Giveaway of this whole set up including googles, remote, quad but you only allow me to enter. Pfffttttt hands down would be the best video ever!!! Please. Pretty please. Goddammit. I hate being broke and wanting to fly FPV. Even a tiny hawk freestyle 2 kit would work. But yeah, a giveaway would bring in a ton of subs.

  26. youzrnaim on May 2, 2022 at 6:48 pm

Why did bubby’s feed get all pixelated when they started racing? Is that just something vista does?

  27. David Anderson on May 2, 2022 at 6:49 pm

This was fun! Love super lite quads

  28. Juan Felipe Caro on May 2, 2022 at 6:49 pm

2:30 Not "safe" in the EU, though. We go by power (weight x speed) here to judge what is safe and what is not.

  29. hav2roll on May 2, 2022 at 6:50 pm

Rotor riot needs to change its name to DJI. The videos are commercials for DJI products.

  30. Potential NRG on May 2, 2022 at 6:52 pm

I want to see Drew fly a 3D drone and do some Flow on it.

  31. funk yuns on May 2, 2022 at 6:53 pm

can you guys do a video of cheap store drones vs racing hobby drone ? my neighbor keeps arguing his cheap store bought drone is super fast but he cant get it up right now due to broken motor . im trying to show him the difference

  32. CEASAR'S LIFE on May 2, 2022 at 6:55 pm

What’s the Box on the back of her goggles

  33. Juicy Flick on May 2, 2022 at 6:57 pm

These sub 250g quads are amazing for racing , I raced mine at nationals

  34. Romell Baking on May 2, 2022 at 6:59 pm

This video is really funny and exciting to watch. Great one!

  35. MoppelMat on May 2, 2022 at 6:59 pm

Why dont you copy her rates over?

  36. OUFPV2 on May 2, 2022 at 7:01 pm

I love watching all you guys more than botgrinder BS

  37. el xero on May 2, 2022 at 7:02 pm

Should t be an issue for bubby but I wonder how much dji racing affected his performance

  38. puck spirit on May 2, 2022 at 7:03 pm

After watching too much Vannover, this looks almost like I can race better. Even despite the fact that I can’t race to save my life. Probably Vannover is just secretly from another species

  39. Jimmy on May 2, 2022 at 7:05 pm

Should let the paramotor guy (sorry, forgot his name) fly an actual drone instead of the DJI. When you get used to a normal drone the DJI feels like a powerless brick (the DJI is my first drone and I now fly 6S).

  40. Tango_Sierra on May 2, 2022 at 7:06 pm

Eric from aviator making that surprise appearance

  41. RMD Cade on May 2, 2022 at 7:07 pm

The vibe of this group is so wholesome 😀

  42. Cole Tseng on May 2, 2022 at 7:07 pm

The quad should be called The Inlaw imo.

  43. Mark Jones on May 2, 2022 at 7:09 pm

    Gun says 102mph
    Yeh it was 99mph 🤣

  44. KELVIN WOLF on May 2, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Should’ve had Vanover fly too. So we can actually tell if it’s good or not

  45. Carter Nunemaker on May 2, 2022 at 7:12 pm

Whats the best pre built drone under 300 dollars

  46. Ray Parker on May 2, 2022 at 7:14 pm

Why worry about 5" when 3" can out run over 100 out of the box and is by far more nimble!

  47. Filipe D on May 2, 2022 at 7:16 pm

You guys need to do an episode dedicated to drone drag races.

  48. Stephan Kyle on May 2, 2022 at 7:20 pm

My next drone will be sub 250 with dji camera. Best of everything because I don’t race.

  49. Imu on May 2, 2022 at 7:20 pm

I LOVE IT! " if theres no rubbin theres no racing" that, is SOOOO true

  50. 20mmRain FPV on May 2, 2022 at 7:21 pm

I think it’s impossible but I’d love to see a sub 250g with either naked GoPro or insta360 go2 or caddix peanut. All below 250g. That is actually not made out of paper and can withstand a crash.

Then I’ll be all over the sub 250f market. But right now… Not all of use fly DJI or Sharkbyte, and for making cinematic freestyle videos those cameras don’t cut it.
Show me something like that… And I’ll be all over it.
