  3. joe bloggs on January 9, 2021 at 10:55 pm

That’s pretty cool. It would be even better if you could fire a missile at an intruder at a push of a button on your phone!

Nasa doesn’t need to spy on us anymore..we give information freely..apps, google, youtube, facebook..all spy on us in the background..I feel sorry for first person to walk into drone..lose a eye.. amazon got made money tho..what’s 1 eye right to pay out on a settlement.. nothing to amazon..

This is why I love ring, I was about to buy thousands of dollars worth of nest equipment, but ring caught my attention, so I have a ring doorbell, 2 ring floodlight camera, the home security , and I will be getting tht ring cam tht flys when it comes out

I want it to come with an option to go out of preset mode and operate it via an app on your phone or something. If someone’s in my house the preset motion and pause is not good enough for me. You could literally be staring at someone on the camera in your home and all they would have to do is move to the opposite corner of the room and your only option is to pause your camera or let it continue on its preset route? That would be beyond frustrating.

  16. PatienceZero on January 9, 2021 at 11:11 pm

Yeah right, and if you have cats its life expectancy is about 10 seconds after takeoff!

  17. Cody Banks19 on January 9, 2021 at 11:12 pm

again, the concept seems great, but would it be better to wait until they develop an outdoor version? I mean besides the ring doorbell camera and a couple of other outdoor cameras stationary. It would be better if a drone would just take off and fly all the way around the house looking for unusual movement? I don’t think you need one of these IN doors.
Way too much privacy Invasion with hackers, or just Amazon people we know already can listen in through their stupid Alexa speakers and everything else

  28. Wilcox Tactical on January 9, 2021 at 11:21 pm

Its too bad Ring has already said they will release any and all video to Law Enforcement anytime they want without a warrant. Its basically a government spy camera. Had it been from anyone else id have it. From Ring? You couldn’t pay me enough to use one of their products

  29. doug saxon on January 9, 2021 at 11:22 pm

They should make one for outside waterproofed

With the way these big companies and big tech are spying, listening and controlling free speech. I am going to hard pass. We do not need to give them any more tools from 1984, they seem to be controlling us more than enough with what they have now.

  33. Caesar Ocasio on January 9, 2021 at 11:25 pm

There goes the FBI finding drugs, guns etc etc lying around the house … oh and also maybe find a cheating spouse who knows very useful tool

  37. Old Guy on January 9, 2021 at 11:33 pm

    No. Just no.

  39. Dan Seabreeze on January 9, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Nice but the only problem with that is if anyone breaks in they will instantly notice it flying around and get rid of it while hidden cameras they don’t know where they might be.

  40. Xplicit fpv on January 9, 2021 at 11:38 pm

if this comes out i want one.. im a big drone, quad guy.. this is awesome

  41. Kattz on January 9, 2021 at 11:39 pm

You know what it needs? A squirt gun. No matter how well-behaved your cat(s) are while you are at home, they are on the counter and wherever else they arent allowed to be as soon as you leave home. I think that it would be absolutely hilarious if you could nail them with a squirt gun from a drone operated thru your phone. Smart-@$$ little brats.

  44. Cameron on January 9, 2021 at 11:47 pm

In ten years these drones will be incredibly powerful and versatile. All you will need is one or maybe two of these if you have a large property and you will have great coverage.

  45. matt darbyshire on January 9, 2021 at 11:48 pm

  50. Hiro Asuka on January 9, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Ladies and gentlemen. Unfortunately this extraordinary idea for Amazon Drone delivery is just a dream!
Amazon will not adopt this method as its technology is UNSAFE and Extremely expensive. This BATTERY technology is not used in modern aviation, travel Airlines. Battery technology is not efficient in cold or hot temperatures and this will most likely lead to aircraft crashes within neighborhoods. This is basically a gimmick for Amazon to continue some sort of relativity.
