Ken, I just got my first drone. It’s the Mavic Mini. I’ve been watching videos about the Mini and drones in general, and I keep seeing your videos. You are doing a fantastic job. Absolutely love the videos. Full of good information, and a pun, or twenty. Keep it up!

Thank you for this! I recently started flying my drone and photos of properties in Egypt. I was wondering how much do you charge for stills and video montage? It will be very useful for me to have an idea thank you.

    Just a couple suggestions/thoughts ..
    When shooting outside/inside w/ a smartphone( iPhone 10X c/ wide angle ), use a SHIYUN Smooth 4, 3-axis Gimbal( Amazon – $119 ) for steady shots.
When shooting the home, make sure you’re conveying a F L O W of the home. In other words: don’t jump from room-to-room( no one ever walks into the LR of a
home, then suddenly they’re in the DR, or a BDRM, then back outside, then back in some BA RM ).
Make the video under 3 minutes .. any longer it’s a movie, and they’ll loose interest. Think of a RE video as an appetizer. RE videos don’t sell homes .. they’re a mktg tool ONLY. The house will sell itself.

  26. ekrieves on November 5, 2020 at 1:54 pm

Hey Ken, Does having ”eyes” decal stickers on your drone help your drone from being attacked by birds?
I live in a rural lake area on Lake Toledo Bend on the Texas side. there are plenty of American Bald Eagles and Osprey, Owls and other birds . I almost lost a mavic mini just yesterday .

Don’t you price your services based on a fixed PERCENTAGE of the asking price?

  39. Shaun Chapman on November 5, 2020 at 2:07 pm

Ken, this is my favorite of all your videos. The instructional value is top notch.. One day I hope you will be the host of Ken Heron’s Aerial View of America. Your pro voice is great. The largest treehouse, the abandoned hospital and the invasive tree species are your first episodes. Outstanding!
