Professional Drone Pilot – What I Do For Work VLOG
A lot of people have shown interest in what I do for a living, so I went ahead and brought the camera along on a small job so you guys could get a feel for what I do as a drone pilot in the film industry.

he just called a $10-20k drone a toy
What movie is this? Anyone know?
wow great
Trent, why does the drone look upside down at (7:03) please explain?
In that last rooftop scene were you guys trying to match the dolly shot end with the drone shot taking off?
Hey guys, no bush planes in this one, hope you guys don’t mind me sharing a little about what I do for a living. Let me know if you guys would like me to show more stuff like this or just stick with the bush flying. Oh, and happy Friday!!!
holaaa realmente buen video quisiera que permanezcan haciendo contenido de la misma calidad… Voy a continuar mirando sus creaciones. Les mando un saludo nos vemos luego 🤞🏽👍🏽
to carry my drone I have a shoulder bag, to carry his drone he has a large pickup truck.
can anyone tell me what movie it was???
Strapping the gopro to the 100k drone. Big move.
Wait.. is your cinema drone (that you use to carry a camera) more expensive than your plane (that you use to carry you and your wife?) #priorities
He literally flys drones that cost almost 3 times the cost of his plane
When piloting a heavier drone in the city does it help in general to wear a vest “FAA licensed?”
🌞
pushing box truck that’s grip work.
Your flying the drone and someone else is operating the camera?
Hey man how are you, just wondering if you have any tips for flying line of sight?
Thanks
Brett
Pretty cool. Thanks for the ride.
How does one get started in this kind of career?
Cool
That is some really bad ass equipment bro top-notch freaking awesome 💯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Pretty sure this is the movie The Circle?
Dude that is freakin rad! I don’t know how I missed this video? You and Mike patey have been my biggest motivators for getting my own airplane. Got an old tri-pacer and am just waiting on the FAA so I can solo. Like I had mentioned on Mike’s last scrappy video this flying stuff has helped me mentally bigtime. I’m a Marine combat vet who struggles with ptsd and being angry at our country. Flying has been the only thing that takes it all away. Bought my plane right before my dad died this summer. Flying has also really helped me so far dealing with losing my dad…. so I know this is long winded and don’t know if you will see it but if so thank you!! Hopefully I can make it to Oshkosh to meet a few of you motivators and snag some good energy.
Any advice for someone that is looking to start playing around with drones and eventually build a business out of it? Get a 107 Certificate? Best drone to start with?I love all your videos. Thanks for being an inspiration!
Claro continúa está interesante detrás de camaras Gracias
You’re kinda a douche
That redwood to skyscraper transition though!
Anyone recognize the movie that he’s filming?
@Trent Palmer as this is now 3 Years old. Is the Film now live? Can we see your shots somewhere? If you are allowed to tell at least
Which guy is the Iowa fan?
Thanks for posting your work vlog, have been following a few USA aircraft vids lately and came across you.. purchashed my first drone a couple of months ago, done a couple of webnars and have just purchased a basic course, yet to complete, ex RAF, have flown gliders in my youth the drone is a pre retirement treat so I can record some footage whilst I am out in my canoe, boy you were lucky with your engine failure landing and subsequent recovery. Looking forward to watching more of your stuff. Stay safe. Gavin.P Suffolk England.
Thats looks like a marvel movie? Scarlet witch ending / dr strange beginning
Im having serious déjà vu, i fell like i’ve seen this already, but i don’t remember youtube channel at all
How did you get into this career?
0:42 UFO appears? or maybe a drone?
4:05 Were you shooting that Jumanji 2 scene of them dropping from the top?
(edited) Naww I don’t think so.
I know I’m playing catchup here, but it was cool to see what you do with drones. Didn’t need a ‘break’ from flying but this was cool. The occasional squirrel is all good.
For the longest time I thought you said you flew drugs for a living,my bad hearing.😂
You know you’re making it in the drone photography business when you can say the DJI Inspire is "too much of a toy." I totally get the point about manual iris control, however.
My first and only so far is the DJI Spark. Justified the purchase because it would help me get my DIY solar system approved for me to install and I’d be able to use it for my channel as well.
very impressive
“ that’s how we have a birth by a tree” …,he forgot to say : I am Groot! 🤣🤣
wow, multirotor drone, I hope i also like you.
The dolly arch to flyaway shot is one of the coolest I’ve seen
Have you ever done movies? If so which ones:)
Is that a alta
West Virginia steel worker who used to live in Colorado! I have a DJI mavic Air 2! I’m looking to get into this business
Im building an open cockpit airplane complete with portable shot gun. The plane is called ….DRONE SLAYER 😈
this guy deserves more subs tbh.
2 years on what we’re you filming
Loaded question: how did you get into the aerial cinematography industry?
Great to see a day in the world life of Trent Palmer. Interesting how you are the pilot and then you have a cameraman doing his thing. Makes complete sense. That BIG BOY drone looks the BOMB!
