Please please for the love of FPV gods stop telling about 6S vs 4S.. properly chosen motors (for example 1600kv 6S and 2400kv for 4S) will give you exactly same amount of speed and power just battery sag will be lower. Also batteries have exact same amount of power – 4S 1500mah will give you same amount of power as 6S 1000mah which will be about same mass. Of course you can go 6S 1100mah but it is same as choosing 1800mah 4S on 4S drone.. also more Ah will not always give you more fly time because it will increase your overall AUW. It is worth saying that for new pilots it is easier to fly 6S drone on 4S lipo but most if not all other info about batteries are at least partially wrong ;p i doubt now if you really compared them side by side. And then only part of this video that I object to is featured as short.. argh…..

  9. Spawn and Batman on May 31, 2022 at 7:12 pm

my first drone is the mini 2 for filming I love it. I bought the dji fpv but wanted something better for freestlye so i returned it. I was looking at mr steele apex 5 quadcopter but its expensive

  10. Gimbalair on May 31, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Found this after commenting on another vid of yours. This is perfect, but what I am after is a pre configured cinelog25 with DJI stuff, can you help with what I need.

  11. Noah KC on May 31, 2022 at 7:14 pm

Did you add the tbs crossfire to the drone or did it come standard with the package?

  12. GetFPV on May 31, 2022 at 7:16 pm

Great video Matt, look forward to seeing more! We’ve tweaked the bundles a bit based on your feedback 🙂

  13. Nremus on May 31, 2022 at 7:16 pm

Question from someone who never purchased an FPV drone before, when you buy a FPV digital drone, they always ask what receiver to include with the drone, what do you select? PNP – Frsky R-*** or TBS Crossfire. I do have the DJI Goggles and controller. So I think I just do PNP ?

For anyone who needs help getting into fpv or is having problems I highly recemend getting discord and joining a drone server it is soooooooooo helpful!

  16. Marc Adams on May 31, 2022 at 7:21 pm

Matt, thanks for videos like this. They’re very helpful for beginners like me. Also, I super appreciate your clear enunciation and ability to communicate in a way that’s educational and not condescending. Thank you!

  17. FrancescoScaramucci on May 31, 2022 at 7:21 pm

Hey Matt, love your content and I always find it extremely helpful.

I’ve got a question for you (or for anybody who wants to help me out): I bought the DJI FPV Drone as soon as it was announced because it was the first truly accessible way into the FPV world for someone who doesn’t want to learn how to bind stuff, weld electronics or just not want to burn their house down by charging batteries the wrong way.

I’m now looking for a Cinewhoop under 250gr to create cinematic sequences of (mostly) indoors flying: I’d like to use the DJI Goggles V2 that came with the DJI FPV Drone, so I would "only" need the drone, some batteries with their charger and a radio. Is it possible to get a RTF bundle similar to the ones you showed in this video in this configuration? Also, which drone would you recommend? I’m torn between the Cinelog25 and Cinelog30.

  18. David Webster on May 31, 2022 at 7:22 pm

Hi Matt, I used your advice and bought my first drone from GETFPV as I also was a bit confused as to what to buy and how to tune it, great down to earth videos, keep up the good work.

  19. Devil C Fpv on May 31, 2022 at 7:22 pm

It is better to build your own…. bind and flys are still the cheapest build possible most of the time. Just using the pro pilots frame design. So the motors and all the electronics are not top of the line. I spend anywhere from $800-$1200 on a whole build that is with the gopro included and the T-Motor F7HD stack/ F55a4-1ESC
I use F80Pro2200KV motors on 6s! (Fucking beast ass motors!) and the strongest frames I have ever used and tested are the Apex Standard frame and the apex 5.5” frame. KINfpv’s AtlasV3 frame, But the (The Gravity Loss GRL Titanium Pro 2 frame) is by far the strongest lightest fastest build I have it will take an absolute beating over and over and over again. I’m still using the same GRL build I built from day one. Which is amazing cause I was breaking an apex frame atleast once a week.

  20. Bailey Smith on May 31, 2022 at 7:23 pm

    Does it freestyle?

  21. AcroWeebu on May 31, 2022 at 7:25 pm

    You missed newbeedrone 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

  22. samuel yeet on May 31, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Yo, can we get a middle cetagory here? I don’t want to pay top dollar, but I don’t want the cheap pos I’ll be sick of in a week. I need some bang for buck, what’s that perfect setup that’s surprisingly cheap for what it is? That one setup all the pros make fun of other people flying it because it’s good enough to keep up with them but cheap enough for any random person to buy!

  23. Sleeping Panda on May 31, 2022 at 7:26 pm

Great video as I believe it was perfect for someone like me. What would you recommend for someone that has RC flight experience with all the tools already. I currently fly large scale 3d 700/800 size helis. I’m looking to make my first purchases to see if FPV is for me. I would like to spend a bit more up front to get quality. I waited for the tech to mature somewhat because I felt the anolog was unappealing visually. I would be doing zero cinema and more freestyle. I would appreciate your thoughts. Also, because I spend so much time already building and maintaining my helis, I would prefer not to build the first but I can be persuaded if it makes sense for me. 👍

  24. eric wittkopf on May 31, 2022 at 7:28 pm

Can u share the tune ?:)

  25. Rodrigo Borgneth on May 31, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Love your videos! Quality content as usual

  26. abruptly blunt on May 31, 2022 at 7:31 pm

just out of curiosity, aren’t all the new faa requirements going to make it next to impossible for beginners to fly fpv outdoor legally or for that matter for anyone to legally fly outdoors without having to deal with a bunch of bs government requirements and restrictions?

  27. Big Eejit Quads on May 31, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Not really "premium", but the Eachine Novice IV kit doesn’t look bad for a starter set as you don’t immediately have the replace everything. Think you even get batteries too.

  28. sylas wojciechowski on May 31, 2022 at 7:34 pm

3:10 thats the typical camera mount that quads used to have 4 or so years ago… Nothing too special, but also nothing super wrong with it, other than not giving any protection to the action cam

  29. The Quad on May 31, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Hey Matt I am new to FPV and I am just starting out I have a Cinelog 25 the only thing I have to say I would love to know how to bind the drone to my remote. Please let me know if you have private lessons so I can get my foot of the ground

  30. Rodrigo Borgneth on May 31, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Please, make a Le Drib setup tour too, I love my Nazgul too! Thanks!

  31. Greg Supe on May 31, 2022 at 7:35 pm

Yep I got my Lumenier QAV-R as a bundle. My first quad and its top notch quality from getfpv. Was kinda bummed that they didnt have the Johnnyfpv version at the time I was getting it tho. Nice vid Matt. 😎✌️

Anyone know of any other premium ready-to-fly kits? Leave a reply to this comment!

  35. Mike Miller on May 31, 2022 at 7:38 pm

After all that showing what to select, you didn’t show the final price? 😒

  36. zachary pothier on May 31, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Can you make a video including all the processes to fly legally in Canada like step by step!

  37. sylas wojciechowski on May 31, 2022 at 7:39 pm

The crossfire tx could be used with the mambo, but there really isnt a point to that. I think tbs is planning on adding a longer range option to tracer.

  38. Jim Mundy on May 31, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Great stuff as usual Matt… I’m still in the sim and the EZ Pilot. What was your progression after a sim and before your first 5 inch or larger drone? You may already have a video on this topic.

  39. Mo Najafi on May 31, 2022 at 7:40 pm

Do you know where can I buy a camera mount and vibration dampening for protek35?

  40. Jake Gifford on May 31, 2022 at 7:43 pm

Been watching your videos from about number 2 or 3. Thank you for always a great breakdown. Keep up the good work I’ve learn so much from you.

  41. gadgetman 404 on May 31, 2022 at 7:43 pm

They don’t ship mambo with battery no carrier will let them made video on this issue

  42. Louis Luzuka on May 31, 2022 at 7:44 pm

Definitely been looking for something for my hero 7!

  43. RGMG on May 31, 2022 at 7:45 pm

Have 2 of the Rotor Riot HD1 5" quads ….they are quality quads for anyone looking. Also, the iFlight Nazgul Evoque (5") is nice to fly as well. Don’t have the Johnny FPV but I like the straps for the GoPro (jamming the GoPro into those 3d printed mounts can be tough..esp. in the cold)…..Also like the way the power cables up out of the way on the Johnny FPV quad…def. going to give that guy a 2nd look…thanks for the video and review. Keep up the great work! 👍👍

  44. Cheech FPV on May 31, 2022 at 7:45 pm

Babyhawk 2 HD is probably the best beginner FPV drone you can buy. Affordable, powerful for a 3.5 inch, and digital. Plus it’s on sale from fpvcrate 👍🏽.

  45. Will T on May 31, 2022 at 7:46 pm

Pls review the. Eachine Novice-II V2.0 1-2S 2.5 Inch pls.

  47. Miguel P on May 31, 2022 at 7:53 pm

Talking to people that want to get into the hobby but using jargon and not explaining it is thoughtless.

  48. Lewis Richter on May 31, 2022 at 7:56 pm

That’s kinda what I’ve done. I got the DJI Goggles V2, DJI Radio and a DJI AIR UNIT in a Kit for a future self build drone. I want to get into cinematic flying and wasn’t happy with my analog picture. So I decided to buy the CINELOG 35 Digital version from GEPRC and it was really easy to set up. DJI does a really good job in making binding really easy. I really wish, I had ordered a spare frame for the CINELOG though.. I lost connection flying behind a building, and crashed on concrete.. How do some pilots get so much range out of the DJI Digital System? I am kinda afraid about crashing my drones because of that, didn’t really get a warning.

  49. McFlight on May 31, 2022 at 7:57 pm

I only clicked on this because you looked like Stu from UAVF*

    jk 👌🏻😉

  50. clazy on May 31, 2022 at 7:58 pm

Hey, i have the qx7 and want more range to fly over water…what external module should i buy ?my problem is that i have not so much money to spend on. And it should be easy to setting up, because with the firmware😬 at the end is takes months to get it fly…. What do you think is the best to do?
