I am a FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot with 15 years experience in photography/videography. I am a graphic designer with 15 years experience in Photoshop and Premiere. I have great networking skills. I have practiced and honed the drone so to speak. What am I worth?

  2. Allan Parsons on October 25, 2020 at 12:39 pm

6:20 yeah you know i dont really want a job

  3. Have Drone Will Travel on October 25, 2020 at 12:39 pm

This video stinks, but at least I got to see a live version of Buddy Pine from Incredibles.

  4. El Mostrito on October 25, 2020 at 12:41 pm

What if I’m a single-rotor builder/pilot? Am I worth anything at all to these companies?

  5. The Colonel JJ on October 25, 2020 at 12:42 pm

Gee. Considering all the grief you take from some folks, I can’t believe I’m the first to point out your typo. "from comapnies hiring" Oops. Still following and learning…

  6. B Spin on October 25, 2020 at 12:43 pm

You guys ever hear of B-Roll?
For a Camera Drone youtube channel, you hardly ever include footage. It’s just Two Guys Talking. Show us something. At least put a drone on the table! Do you guys even fly??

  7. Coty Vann on October 25, 2020 at 12:44 pm

I’m about to leave for training for the National Guard to be a drone operator. I’m curious what my options will be when I get back with the military training + the clearance that is needed. I was looking at doing an internship or something at a testing facility in my area. Anyone with similar situation? I’m curious what I should do to get a good job in the industry. Preferably without going to college for many years.

  8. Joey S on October 25, 2020 at 12:44 pm

its hard to say fellas suppose it comes down to demand

  9. A-Aron Fpv on October 25, 2020 at 12:46 pm

I’ve been a mechanic for about 18yrs and I am good at what I do I wish I could make 35k let alone 75k

  10. cyberbuck on October 25, 2020 at 12:47 pm

You guys are awesome, thanks so much for all of the great information that you provide. I am so glad I became a DroneU member.

  11. F48 FILMS on October 25, 2020 at 12:47 pm

I think what he is saying and maybe I’m wrong maybe right. Don’t let corporate companies own your creativity and drive. If your a drone pilot and want to succeed in business don’t kneel to corporate demand. Set your price and deliver quality product. Drone pilots have a product that is going to be more and more needed. Don’t make this product be copper make it gold. Don’t sell short my friends. Keep your prices high

Is it possible to pass the 107 with your study guide on Amazon alone?

  13. Elliot Huh? on October 25, 2020 at 12:52 pm

Drone job seems like a way over saturated market.

  14. Idle Hands on October 25, 2020 at 12:55 pm

Love the podcasts but you guys really need to do a much better job on actually putting in the links in the annotations. It’s kind of annoying to see an episode I’d like to watch and there’s no link. It doesn’t take a whole lot of time to do and your viewers will really appreciate it. Other than that, a pretty awesome job all around. Keep it up.

  15. AJ Menanga on October 25, 2020 at 12:58 pm

This guys NEVER Ans any questions on the comments! not even liked any! haha

  16. dixiesecularskeptic on October 25, 2020 at 12:58 pm

No man you don’t want a job. Those people with jobs are just leaving room for contractors. Just remember contractors, you need twice the income as a company would pay. You have benifits, business insurances, drones, and double taxes. That’s a lot to buy. Of you’re making less than double, you weaken the industry just like the guy settling for 35k is weakening his.

  17. Will Ward on October 25, 2020 at 12:59 pm

    Your last comments were awesome!

  18. Ty Brady on October 25, 2020 at 12:59 pm

If that guy is making six figures, he should stick with the same job. It would be hard to make six figures with drones considering the supply of drone pilots is probably growing faster than the demand for drone work.

  19. FlowTfpv on October 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm

  20. Joshua Rainwater on October 25, 2020 at 1:03 pm

  22. B Spin on October 25, 2020 at 1:06 pm

btw, Bobby Hill probably didn’t get a job offer to be a "drone pilot."
He more likely got a job offer to make aerial videos, which means recording AND editing.

This video was suppose to be about Possible salaries you should expect from comapnies hiring drone pilots but covered very little you are to windy and have a hard time staying on topic. You need to work on this bad.

  32. souocara38 on October 25, 2020 at 1:27 pm

If you want to be a drone pilot getting a masters degree is a waste of time.
To get good $$ in this field I think you need to be the director of the drone department or something like that, not a pilot. Another option would be to be self employed…

  33. Desert Chameleon on October 25, 2020 at 1:28 pm
