hi Nate and Abbie! , this is a unique drone for sure. more like for search and rescue. anyways i wanted to share maybe an odd opinion why i decided to stay with my MJX Bugs 2w and my Traxxas Aton as my only 2 drones, and i refuse to buy any other drones aside from the fact that i cant afford one, lol. my main reason is the proprietary batteries that most of these drone uses once a compamy decides to discontinue that model battery support will most likely disappear too. whereas the Traxxas Aton and the MJX Bugs 2 drones uses a standard lipo configuration with balance plugs and charging ports that are available in any hobbyshop. so even if those models where to be discontinued i can still buy lipos fir them and not ending up as a paperweight. also to add action cams like the Onepaa X2000 has very decent video quality for a 2k/or 1080p 60fps, granted it is not professional grade. i am still waiting for this cam in the mail. but for now i have attached a refit legs for my Bugs 2w that is available from ebay for $4.00 so i can mount this action cam when it arrives.

    Sony guts!

  3. Kevin Lee on September 10, 2020 at 11:00 am

Oh my God! So cool how Abby just broke out into complete camera gear spec speak, dropping a whole bunch of numbers and information on the vitus vs. An average camera setup!!!

  4. Chico Little on September 10, 2020 at 11:02 am

I don’t know about anybody else, but the Vitus looks like Alien technology to me.

  5. tampa1561 on September 10, 2020 at 11:04 am

  6. Marco Cruz on September 10, 2020 at 11:04 am

One wonder if you ever plan to give away this drone?? I mean I don’t care for the drone as much as I’m interested on the night vision camera!! (Please don’t be insulted by my comment I didn’t mean any disrespect)

    Sorry need 4K!

Hi guys! This is a great video as usual from you… I would like comparison video and something extra: according to wlakera’s website, is posible to play with Vitus and Vitus Starlight in a AR (Augmented Reality) mode. It’s that true? I didn’t see anyone testing that aspect before… Thanks and congratulations…

  9. Andrew CCM on September 10, 2020 at 11:09 am

I’d recommend not comparing dSLR lenses to drone lenses. It is not apples to apples at all. Price/Aperture/SIZE/FOV all factor in… Sure a F1.2 50mm is around $1400… But a F2.8 400 is nearly $10,000. A little 3.2mm (ish) (like many of these drones at F2.8 isn’t near the same). Granted the crop FOV is similar to a 24mm.. but $$$ to produce and element design/glass is MUCH different. I understand why you used that example, but it’s sorta misleading… Love the videos. Take care!

TheRcSaylors: As I said, WALKERA SUCKS! BOYCOTT WALKERA! (Why do you both think it is necessary to BLOCK my opinion of Walkera and it’s shoddy products?) If YouTube is "playing games" with my comments, then please forgive me for assuming that you blocked my NEGATIVE OPINIONS of Walkera (and the JUNK they make). My "negativity" is fully aimed at Walkera, and NOT TheRcSaylors !

Compare or not to compare….someone had to say it. Don’t care myself, I don’t have a dog in this fight. I would like for you to pay a little more attention to the nerdy stuff like video frame rates, what file formats the cameras use etc. I enjoy your channel none the less. I haven’t seen any vids on indoor / micro fixed wing crafts. I know the drones are all the rage these days but you are the RC Saylors after all not the RC Droners. Keep up the good work!!!

  12. Kenny Wheelus on September 10, 2020 at 11:11 am

    Side by side

  13. LoboQuad on September 10, 2020 at 11:11 am

Dang I hate to say it, but I’d like to see both. When you focus on a single product in a video it is always quite thorough and very helpful. But of course we want to see the video compared side by side. How about you go out a couple days and fly, one to concentrate on this quad and one to get some comparison video.

  14. Mick Cameron on September 10, 2020 at 11:12 am

where you guys got the mavic case from

  17. Country Bumpkin Reporter on September 10, 2020 at 11:14 am

Not sure there’ll will be a market for this type drone to the general public since Gas rules state you are not to fly more then 30 minutes before sunrise or 30 minutes after sunset. If not for that I would love it! Definitely want to see what it can do at night vs the Mavic! Thanks Guys you do a Great Job!

  18. TranSoniC MLBB on September 10, 2020 at 11:15 am

    Does it have gimbal?

  19. Fernando Topaz on September 10, 2020 at 11:15 am

I do like this kind of videos

  20. Adam lol on September 10, 2020 at 11:15 am

17 mins and no actual footage. Come on dude’s now i am going to find the footage somewhare else instead of your video. For that reason there will be no likey im afraid. 10 mins of talk 7 mins of footage. Sory.

  21. Johnny Young on September 10, 2020 at 11:16 am

    The whole nine yards

  22. Dennis Buchen on September 10, 2020 at 11:17 am

Yes I would love to have a night camera for my mavic. I do fly it at night quite a bit so a better camera for it at night would be great!!

  23. Complete Quality Review on September 10, 2020 at 11:18 am

I know this is a older video but I’d say focusing on the main drone is best. There’s so many reviews on dji drones and every reviewer compares or mentions dji sometimes it’s annoying (no offense completely to you guys) and my eyes tend to roll every time I see or hear of dji during the review of another drone. I’d prefer full focus on the Walkera. Most of us know the Mavic series well they’re old news. I’m interesting to see new drones with no fly zones shine at a lower price.

    Great work guys. πŸ™‚

  24. Danny G on September 10, 2020 at 11:22 am

I love it! Can’t wait to see some flight footage! Great comparison!

  25. Ethan Johnson on September 10, 2020 at 11:24 am

I like it better when you just focus one one drone.

  26. powertool4uau on September 10, 2020 at 11:25 am

    Side by side comparison

  27. Kenny Wheelus on September 10, 2020 at 11:26 am

I do think that there is a thing for night vision, for hunting an for search an rescue an many other things.

  28. Shyro Channing on September 10, 2020 at 11:29 am

I love the idea of night vision on a drone. And I’m extremely interested in that model too. So I’ll be waiting in anticipation for your TRCS review.

And as for the theme of the TRCS review. I’d like to see both a side by side comparison & a dedicated review too.

  29. Calvin Alders on September 10, 2020 at 11:29 am

I like these comparison videos, thank you.

  30. Ahmad Bracey on September 10, 2020 at 11:30 am

Full frame equivalent its more closer to like a 2.8-3.0 aperture. I say this only beacuse those $1000 lenses are 1.2 full frame. But great video love the content.

  31. firefighter3b on September 10, 2020 at 11:31 am

    Walkera at night.

  32. Bruce Rumrey on September 10, 2020 at 11:32 am

I like the compare videos very interesting like all your videos, thou both quads are way out of my price range

  33. Drone Evolution NYC on September 10, 2020 at 11:33 am

  38. George Costanza on September 10, 2020 at 11:35 am

Comparo! I’d also like to vote on the pronunciation of Vitus…. it should be v(eye)tus, just like the β€œvita” in vitamin πŸ™‚

  47. Ethan Johnson on September 10, 2020 at 11:46 am

what do you think has better aerial video Vitus or Mavic Pro?

  48. Joseph Young on September 10, 2020 at 11:46 am

Please make a comparison video next with this drone and the Mavic !😊

  49. Smokey420Greenleaf on September 10, 2020 at 11:52 am

not much point in going side by side with them, they’re made for completely different applications. we already know the mavic will work like crap at night and outshine the vitus during the day, what else is there to compare? i personally would love to see more advanced drones with night vision, thermal, or even infrared imaging, that’s probably the only way you’d ever convince me any non weaponized drone is worth more than $200 honestly (unless you’re a successful full time aerial photographer or use it to generate a steady income).
