Thanks for keeping it simpler for us! πŸ‘

  2. Ivan Jdrakov on December 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm

Thank God that here in Bulgaria there are no such things as rules and regulations hey, imagine I had to abide to some rules or something.. LOL

Anyway, it’s like super cool that the UK is doing such awesome things to regulate the hobby…

Here in Bulgaria, I guess all of Eastern Europe, it’s like we just really watch out not to upset anyone and not to damage any property.

Else if we’re in public, like the street or so, we can film towards residential areas and buildings…

I fly from my balcony al8the time, I fly over people on the stadium regularly, and also I fly above 120m, but for my last flights I’ve been keeping them all under 120m..

Keep well and be safe bro!

PS: I’m so happy that I got the Mavic Mini and the Mini 2 now.. Great toys they are…

  3. Ivan Jdrakov on December 16, 2021 at 12:01 pm

Why do I have to subscribe to you so often bro!?!?

I mean I’ve already subscribed like more than 2 times for sure.. I come to the channel and it shows me unsubscribed!

Anyway, I shall just keep subscribing, lol..

  4. Marvin Noble on December 16, 2021 at 12:03 pm

Fair enough. I understand where this new drone restrictions are coming from. Already got my IDs and the process is quick. Fly safe everyone!

  5. Mike D on December 16, 2021 at 12:05 pm

Given the DJI mini 2 is 249 grams against a 250 gram limit, surely as soon as you add the ‘operator ID’ tag to the drone it’ll tip the scale to 250?

  6. Del Mc on December 16, 2021 at 12:06 pm

I’ve just watched this, and it explains everything so clearly. I’ve seen a few videos about registration and my head was confused at the end of it all. Now I know exactly what I need to do. Many thanks for the information. Del. πŸ‘

  20. Wayne Pickard on December 16, 2021 at 12:26 pm

Thank you I’ve been so worried about flying my mini 1 so this makes it seem worth having again. Fly time.

  21. 2236tommo on December 16, 2021 at 12:28 pm

Straight forward and concise.. Thank you.

  22. PD Tech on December 16, 2021 at 12:28 pm

So no Flyer ID needed for the Mavic Mini and Mini 2, only Operator ID. Doesn’t make any sense really, so technically you don’t have to complete the silly multiple choice ‘training’ quiz, as that’s to gain a Flyer ID, just have to read the owners manual! Or am I missing something?? πŸ˜―πŸ€”πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜

  23. Alva Fletcher on December 16, 2021 at 12:30 pm

Really appreciate this! Thanks for taking the time to make such helpful and informative video

  24. Fatih Bayraktaroglu on December 16, 2021 at 12:32 pm

  27. Daniel Cole on December 16, 2021 at 12:37 pm

Thanks for the clear advice and information.

  28. PBphotos on December 16, 2021 at 12:39 pm

A good reference video for drone newbies, nicely done. The CAA should link this clip to the gov website, to simplify the regs πŸ‘.

  29. skyzx on December 16, 2021 at 12:39 pm

Thanks for this getting my mini 2 soon

  30. Christian Brandt on December 16, 2021 at 12:44 pm

First negative Brexit outcome I have seen πŸ˜‚ EU everything under 250g does not need to get registered more do you need to get tested or pay

  31. HomeWalk 3D 360 Virtual Tours on December 16, 2021 at 12:46 pm

I’m a virtual tour and property photographer and thinking of getting one, so if I had a dji mini 2 all I’d need currently would be to take the free multiple choice questions, pay Β£9 registration and get myself some drone liability insurance? I’m still bemused if this applies to commercial as it seems too easy

  32. Caravantastic on December 16, 2021 at 12:50 pm

    Very useful thank you πŸ‘

  33. Tony Hazell on December 16, 2021 at 12:52 pm

Great video as usual, I had to do the same over here in Ireland, multiple choice and watch a 10-15 minute video, we can display our flyer number in a QR code so I’m making mine on the vinyl cutter, I’m registered for open category A1 and A3 over here,

  34. DAVE HODGKISS on December 16, 2021 at 12:55 pm

  35. Day Tripper on December 16, 2021 at 12:57 pm

Very helpful. I think it’s needed as you know the Mini 2 can fly at 35 mph and some nutter somewhere could do serious damage

  36. Dr Debrun on December 16, 2021 at 12:57 pm

    Great explanation πŸ‘Œ thanks

  37. Bruce Charlton on December 16, 2021 at 12:58 pm

  38. Sam Hoey on December 16, 2021 at 12:58 pm
