Has Obama said to teenage boys who might be interested in his daughters… “Two words boys… Predator drone“
Mq9 is better
Yes, I saw this one in the Belgrade Museum, which was shot down by the Serbian army
The MQ1 has an inverted V tail. The MQ9 has a V-shaped tail. They are two *quite* different aircraft.
Can you tell us something about Turkey’s drones.
The Americans used swarms of drones in the 1990 persian gulf war against Iraq. The Iraqi air defense thought they were scoring tons of hits on fighters and bombers, and they were just being distracted by robots lol
The US invented drone surveillance and remotely-operated warfare. The Chinese will perfect it. The world needs a Geneva-convention for drone warfare.
F-22 flew combat mission in 2002?
It was called, The Battle of Roberts "RIDGE" not "BRIDGE" Because they were ambushed out on a ridgeline.
2021 Drone Latest Use: Tracking angry mothers at public school board meetings
Now do the global hawk
10:27 Not riots, protests. Any rioting that happened happened long after the peaceful protesters went home. Also, the police instigated much of the chaos deliberately injuring and killing unarmed civilians exercising their right to peaceful protest.
Sky death robots
American citizens are the enemies.
"If the A-10 is the hammer, the MQ-1 is a scalpel"
Well they use the exact same missiles and similar targetting system soooooo…..A-10 is just as effective at using AGM-65. 99% sure the same can be said for the F-35, I’m positive they also use AGM-65. I don’t see how an A-10 and F-22 struggled to take out something the MQ-1 could, A-10 especially as CAS is literally their entire reason for existing. Taking out fortified bunkers and tanks is just breakfast for one.
7:47 is an image of an MQ-9 Reaper; which has vertical V tail rather than inverted ^ tail and uses a turboprop engine, not a piston engine.
Robert’s " RIDGE " ..?
Funny fact certain Norma Jean started her career as factory worker for Ryan. .-)
ISRAELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Why don’t we have an F22 video yet? PLEASE make one!
Robert’s BRIDGE?
It would make more sense for the R to stand for "rocket" instead of "reconnaissance". lol
Have You considered looking into the Russian S400 Air Defence System.
what weapon isnt an expensive toy? seriously of course it is, just another deadly man toy.
Think how long your cell phone lasts until it is obsolete. According to Verizon, about 2 days.
Also, the drones not only strike terror in the terrorists, it strikes terror in military pilots, all of whom are in danger of either being made redundant or spending their careers sitting in a little trailer in Nevada.
ISIS-K & Bumbling Biden brought me here. 💪🇺🇸💥
That’s not a turboprop – Rotax make piston engines not gas turbines.🤦♂️
"Roberts’ Ridge," not bridge
It was invented by an Arab hhhhhh damn
12:41 Those A-10s are ones formerly operated by the 188th Wing, current operators of MQ-9 Reapers. Cool coincidence.
if you wanna talk about service life…you should do a video on the A-10 Warthog you mentioned…things been around since the war in Vietnam…titanium reinforced bathtub for the pilot/co-pilot….multiple redundant systems…can make it home on a single engine and missing most of its wings….
and of course…the GAU-8 Avenger cannon…whole aircraft is built around it….#Brrt
You are the best, Simon.
The line from 12:38 reminded me so much of Hitman Absolution
Hey its vsauce
*"UAV Online."*
I just want to point out that all facts *should be cross checked before making the script*
Several issues that I noticed just passively watching:
1. The RR Trent 970 turbofan engines on the A380 family of aircraft produce approximately *60,000 horsepower* not 12,500 as is stated in the video, and are usually rated by thrust, rather than horsepower anyway. Only *turboprop engines* are rated in *shp* or *"shaft horsepower"* which leads me to my next point;
The Rotax 914 is NOT a turboprop engine. It is part of an engine family (owned by Bombardier) that is optionally turbocharged but is a conventional air cooled opposed four cylinder piston engine designed specifically for general aviation aircraft use.
Video on the mq9?
i like the fast talk. twice the info in half the time. more please!
Putin knows the Predator is essentially America entering the war, but unless he has proof that it is an American in San Antonio with the joy stick and not a Ukranian in Kyiv he has thin pretext for expanding the war which is going badly enough already. Thanks. Great video.
turbo prop ….. no
imagine if all the minds put to create weapons to kill were put to create machines to save lives….humans would be on level 2 civilisation
What about the MQ-9 MQ-20 RQ-4 and so on? I’d love to see videos on those aircraft
The Operation Desert Storm took place in 1991, the RQ-1 was introduced in 1994, deployed in 1996. Simon says in the video that RQ-1 brought contribution to intelligence during The Operation Desert Storm…for me it does make no sense, can somebody clarify this for me in case i’m wrong.

Good video!
FYI, the US military has been using GPS for much longer than twenty years…lol
On ‘precision’ i can’t stop myselve of thinking about the ‘ooopsi-drone’ and its great achevements as ‘the marrigage-interupter’, probably also known as ‘seems-like-a-military-convoy-just-without-guns-oh-i-allready-hit-it-there-were-weapons-i’m-sure’ and ‘hey-these-kids-are-on-ther-own-fault-by-playing-within-30m-range-of-a-terrorist’.
So the drone must be very bad … or quite many users must be warcriminals.
Hams invented drones huh? Nice. ARRL is still chugging, taking nerds of all stripes!
"Civil-protection"
Yeah okay…
Can’t wait to have mine. I just traded my Skydio2+ and DJI mavic 2 for this.
The UK Gem-7 UAV from Gem Aero has the longest endurance, of all the medium-size UAVs.
It has a very efficient and durable airframe.
And is 1/10th the price of a standard military UAV.
