Mexican Cartels Use Suicide Drones In Territory Wars

Weaponized drones are often deployed by modern militaries, but now appear to have been adopted by Mexican gangs.

In the battle for territory in Guanajuato, Mexico, police seized a kamikaze drone packed with explosives, as well as a remote detonator and a gun. Four suspected gang members believed to be linked to a Mexican drug cartel were arrested.

The explosives, which were strapped to the drone, can only be sourced from the military. Questions remain as to how the suspected gang members got access to those explosives.

I have a theory on this question raised! They gave a big pile of $ probably a year of wages to some poor guy in the army. Seems like a pretty good theory also I would think that the Mexican army is full of people who would do that in a second. That part was easy to figure out, but how do we figure out how to raise living standards and weed out corruption, because that is the only cure for this kind of criminal behaviour (no easy ways out sorry).

A high school kid was the first to weaponize and prove it, right here on youtube. Look up flamethrower drone and glock drone, the same kid did them. You really have to wonder how cartel got military gear, corruption and drug bribe money rules mexican government, thats how.
