Kyle Rittenhouse prosecution accused of withholding key evidence, defense demands mistrial

While the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is in a verdict watch, the defendant’s defense attorneys file a motion demanding a mistrial over evidence they say was withheld from them by the prosecution. The defense claims a high-quality version of the drone video showing the shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum was not given over to the defense until after all the evidence had been presented. Meanwhile, jurors in the case have asked the judge about whether they should view videos of the incident in the courtroom or inside the jury room.

I think the prosecutor was actually on the side of Kyle. In case of the jury convict the boy, Kyle could win apeal simply just by this prosecutor mistake of holding evidences.

This Judge is what I thought all judges should be like tough but fair. He does not bend when it comes to constitutional rights. He makes sure that the defendant gets a fair trial by the law. Sir I salute you and you bring some hope to our justice system to myself at the very least. Too often when I see trials it seems the judge and the prosecutor are on the same team and that the judge does not care about the right of the defendant but no you.

He should be made a Congressional Page and given a full ride scholarship to Liberty University to study acting. The he should be a remunerated regular guest on Fox. Maybe, some day the GOP could get him nominated for a Congressional seat? He is such a great American asset of which the whole world is talking about. GO KYLE GO!

The jury is the law the ultimate law and the jury determines what evidence they want to see
In fact any juror can ask any question that they wish to ask of any witness the prosecutors the defense attorneys or the judge…. the jury actually has the ultimate power in the court of law

  24. STONER HISTORY on April 14, 2022 at 6:29 pm

    I’m so glad Kyle won!!!

Now blm can walk thru any neighborhood and if someone like Mark and Patricia McCloskey point their guns at us we can respond with lethal force…
Thanks to Kyle’s case the only thing that matters is who pointed their weapon first, not why.

Now it doesn’t matter if Mark and Patricia McCloskey were just trying to "protect their property, community" or their lifes, thanks to Kyle all that is irrelevant…

Kyle’s case has now given anyone in America a free pass to go somewhere they aren’t wanted and shoot anyone that tries to do something about it(like Trump Supporters)
    (Self defense)

BLM can now march freely thru any Trump supporting neighborhoods through out America and open fire on any Trump supporter that points their guns on us…

    Thanks Kyle…

Mark and Patricia McCloskey a thing of the past now…

    We gonna be like Kyle

  28. Steve LaPeters on April 14, 2022 at 6:34 pm

I absolutely believe this was the right outcome to the trial evidence presented, and that Mr. Rittenhouse was rightfully discharged as a defendant. That being said (and sorry for saying it), this judge does a LOT of bumbling and mumbling. Sometimes, people do the right thing when they get older, and retire when it becomes obvious one may not be as sharp or polished as they once were, or have the memory skills they once had. But other times, it takes PEOPLE to make that decision for them – in this case, by voting. I sincerely believe this judge is quite fair and impartial and his record reflects that. However, having to proclaim publicly – in such a highly televised and scrutinized case that “we need to hit the books” – in order to look up regulations and case law, well, that doesn’t instill much confidence that such an important government official is able to perform his duties with competency.

Separately, when his honor makes the statement about educated vs. uneducated in comparing people of the jury to lawyers, doctors, judges, etc., I believe his statement is correct when it comes to carrying out this civil duty, but only to a certain degree. He correctly points out what the founding fathers had in mind when the constitution and bill of rights were formed that making such a biased assumption that farmers are no less smart than an “educated” person would be unfair and inaccurate, that was correct – but mostly correct for that moment in time. HOWEVER, these are indeed different times. People don’t take the personal initiative to succeed nor take care of themselves and their personal needs, nor form an opinion on something without outside influence by the news media and by celebrities yammering on about their opinions. People in general rely way too much on what the now corrupt and zero-integrity news media feeds them on television and on social media for what opinion they should have and people NEED to rely on a bloated and corrupt government for virtually every need, I’m not so sure he’s right because people don’t even do their basic civic responsibility. Like voting for instance, or educating themselves on the qualifications and record of who gets put into public office, etc. People rely way too much on the news media to tell them who they should vote for. Most people don’t even consider the fact that so many people died protecting their right to vote, that they take this basic freedom for granted by not doing THEIR part. Exercising your rights requires work. Freedom is certainly NOT free, but so many people could care less about something as important as their vote and taking a few minutes out of their social media-loving and celebrity-loving time to do something so basic, is just astounding and frightening to me. Our kids are being taught that celebrity and popularity is what’s required to succeed. They are no longer being taught about their basic rights. They are being instead taught political ideologies, thought up by morally corrupt career politicians (which includes judges and important law enforcement roles) who want power and retain power so much that they are willing to sacrifice our children and their futures in order to ensure they stay powerful, is a travesty and a disgrace. That being said, jurors are no different than the rest of the population – reliant on the government teet to suckle for each and every decision or move they make. I think the judge would have been correct about his assessment if he made the statements 50 years ago when people were more apt to take care of themselves and rule their own lives without so many outside influences, distractions and interferences. – Rant concluded.

The US is gone. A mother drives her 17 years old teen with an automatic gun purchased illegally to another state. The teen kills 2 people and paralyze the 3rd person. The judge is biased towards the teen. The jury is influenced by the juge attitude towards the state. The teen found innocent of killing 2 people. Wonderful system. Good luck America.

    1. We didn’t know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
    2. We didn’t know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
    3. We didn’t know that Kyle’s Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
    4. We didn’t know that Joseph Rosenbaum knocked him down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
    5. We didn’t know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
    6. We didn’t know Gaige Grosskreutz, a felon in possession of firearm, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
    7. We also didn’t know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
    8. We didn’t know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn’t supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
    9. We also didn’t realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater.
    10. We didn’t know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.
IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB. we would ALL have known this
