Kaman Offers Its K-Max Unmanned Helicopter to the Commercial Market – AIN
Heavy lift helicopter pioneer Kaman is advancing plans for a new unmanned production version of its K-Max rotorcraft. The company says the new model is set to meet demand for a variety of commercial and military missions that are not well suited to manned aircraft.
An early prototype of the K-Max unmanned air system has already proven its worth in this regard when it supported the U.S. Marine Corps in Afghanistan, resupplying troops with 4.5 million pounds of cargo over 33 months.

So does no tail rotor mean no pedals? Just a collective and a stick? Seems that would make it super easy and simple to pilot!
Looks like a squished mosquito
😲
All i see in the video is manned.
It’s just a little bit heinous. Does it have substantially greater lift for the rotor size than a single? Otherwise the simplicity argument doesn’t hold well when you need a huge rotor to replace a small one.
Wow! This is the best product of aviation engineers! 👍🚁🚁🚁
Cool machine, interesting tale of how it won over the Marines.
Happy to see kaman helicopter rising God bless
