Is flying for DroneBase worth it in 2021? | Flying a mission and answering DroneBase questions.
There are a ton of questions I failed to address and I apologize. These were the ones that came to mind on the drive up to Rancho Cucamonga. Let me know what other questions you have and if you would like to see a part 2 on DroneBase. Thanks for watching and God Bless!

wait if im private pilot where do i submit info to become 107 pilot?
I signed up months ago and I haven’t received any missions.
great video thanks
I average about 1 mission that I accept per week through DroneBase. There are plenty more that come through, but I too analyze the mission by location, complexity, and compensation to determine whether or not I can justify accepting. Nice additional income doing something I enjoy, but in no way enough to live on in my area.
I think the question was answered but to be sure, the mini 2 is a drone that can be used in dronebase? Has anyone ran into issues with using this drone for jobs?
What mapping software do you use?
Any change of opinion, or further thoughts on working with DroneBase a yr + later? And how much on average do you earn flying with DroneBase these days? Thanks
do you use any other drone job platforms? I’m signed up with drone base and drone up but haven’t had any paid jobs your I’m trying t to get into cell tower inspections
I need to check on this. My contracting job requires me to drive all over central Florida anyway. Maybe I can combine the two. Got to renew my 107 first though. Thanks for the info.
Been on dronebase for three months, I live in the same area you do inland empire/Orange County, havenโt seen or been sent one job yet!! not one!!!

Planning to buy a drone. Can you give me any recommendation of what brand of drone do I need to buy? Pang Hobby lng po ๐ new subscriber here
That movie clip w the black actor was hilarious.
When you say heading over to your โreal estate jobโ I am assuming you mean real estate photography job. If that is the case, do you do only aerial or both ground and aerial? If just aerial, how did you work that out? Trying to start my own business up here in New England doing just aerial stuff. Thanks for the video!
When I hear of Rancho Cucamonga I think of the show Workaholics ๐
I have not crashed my drone yet, having flown it yet.
What about non-DJI drones?
Thanks again for another informative video. ๐
Hello new Subscriber! Just got my Part 107. What was the app you used to map this mission?
Whatโs the picks 40 app and how is it spelled? Is it iOS or Android?
Fairly sure you can get your 107 cert by taking the quiz if you have your sport pilot cert of a recreational pilot cert also.
Rancho Cucamonga will not be stuck in my head for the rest of the day
What about the Air 2s?
Do you have to be registered as a company, LLC, etc., in order to work for Drone Base?
What about insurance?
I do doordash but I wouldn’t mind getting my license and doing this. I make like $200 a day for 8 hours, but $175 for an hour goddamn.
Thanks for the content bro. I just passed my 107 and I am ready to go to work in the drone world. You think the DJI Air 2S is good enough for most missions? Thanks
