Awesome would love to race a drone..

  13. Dracing19 on May 21, 2022 at 7:03 pm

with the old analog footage walls and rooms in the arena for these guys will cut in and out sometimes or make the analog video very staticky. With the 5g cameras for fpv there will be no latency and the video will be crystal clear no matter where your drone is at on the course this is going to make the DRL courses way more amazing then they are now they could do a Grand Canyon course and not lose signal or have a 2 mile course and still have signal the sky is the limit with 5g drone fpv systems cant wait to get me 5g system for my racing drones I build my self from scratch.

  14. Adéla Majerová on May 21, 2022 at 7:04 pm

This would be a interesting quadcopter to review.

  15. Chance Wilson on May 21, 2022 at 7:05 pm

Lot of latency on that video, you can’t race with shuddering.

  16. Kim R on May 21, 2022 at 7:08 pm

If you didn’t see it go watch it looked like a moving world it was so cool !

  17. Aurora Vazquez on May 21, 2022 at 7:11 pm

The 5G doesn’t work at all. It will keep my phone from working correctly!

It’s exciting to see what new sports are out there and the love of the Magenta color helps represent 💪🏽 T-Mobile and spot the drone easier, 5G is definitely the next big thing. Love how we’re getting ahead of the competition.

Take a shot every time they say 5G network

  24. Pheep on May 21, 2022 at 7:19 pm

This is actually fantastic. Imagine this in the olympics at some point. Being able to watch a race with the same fidelity as an F1 race or 100 meter dash coverage in first person.

  25. Brian Watzig on May 21, 2022 at 7:21 pm

Now if I could only get service across Wisconsin….

  26. Daenerys Targaryen on May 21, 2022 at 7:22 pm

    Drone racing… Seems interesting👍 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  27. Alan Parsons on May 21, 2022 at 7:22 pm

From the looks of the FPV gear and antennas from the drone I feel like the racers themselves will use the traditional analog video and standard reciever. While the 5G portion would be essentially a stripped down 5G phone steaming from a camera. We will see the details soon I’m sure!

  28. Dawn Norris on May 21, 2022 at 7:22 pm

This is so amazing. I’ll be certified in drones this year.

  29. Daenerys Targaryen on May 21, 2022 at 7:23 pm

I want one of these drones. Or more than one.

Just duck tape your 5G phone over your drone and one over your head. That’s it =)

If anyone saw the opening of the Olympics they were drones , it was amazing !

  39. Airbrushkid on May 21, 2022 at 7:34 pm

5G is a joke. It’s not ready. All the carriers claim they have 5G but no one can use it. And Tmobile , well a lot of areas across the USA can not use Tmobile. But where I live, they will sell it to you and when you go to make a call, If you don’t have wifi then you cannot make calls on Tmobile. There cell signal is not here.

  40. Stu Turner on May 21, 2022 at 7:35 pm

I may be an older guy, but I’ve seen my younger counterparts doing this and age has never discouraged me. Bought a simple drone last year so I wouldn’t stress wrecking it. Haven’t so far. Time to up my game. Still not ready for that level, but working on it.

  41. Phi-FPV on May 21, 2022 at 7:36 pm

    Okay then…

  42. Grif Draycott on May 21, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Well the test pilot was wearing fatsharks so…😆

  43. J C on May 21, 2022 at 7:40 pm

Did you hear?! T-Mobile has the nation’s best 5G network? Oh you heard? Cool, just wanted to make sure you know that T-Mobile has the nation’s best 5G network. Wouldn’t want you to forget…. because T-Mobile has the nation’s best 5G network. So remember – T-Mobile, 5G, best.

  44. Cheese Stick FPV on May 21, 2022 at 7:41 pm

I’m wondering what the latency for the 5g link will be as well as how racers will handle that along with variable latency

  45. trick willis on May 21, 2022 at 7:42 pm

hope nobody has hay fever because that park is a nightmare of pollen. Wondering if drones this fast expedite pollination process or does it cause premature problems ?

  46. Steezy MARLON on May 21, 2022 at 7:43 pm

This people have to be lizards

  47. xRetroJetro on May 21, 2022 at 7:43 pm

    I need this!

  48. Justin Wilson on May 21, 2022 at 7:45 pm

I want that done so badly. With this 5G tech they could make drones that can go cross country, have remote charging stations and such. Ppl can go anywhere there is signal and explore in the near future. Its remarkable.

  49. LG ThinQ74 on May 21, 2022 at 7:45 pm

    T-Mobile
    Backhaul
    Need it

    n41 doesn’t work without backhaul

  50. Adam SoCal on May 21, 2022 at 7:46 pm

Piloting these drones are way funner than watching them forsure 👌
