I suggested to Nav Canada’s Facebook page they look in to LAANC system for Canada, would take off the work load a bit from all the requests. 48 hrs minimum is not acceptable.

I am a Part 107 certified drone pilot in the US… I use AirMap which is connected to the LAANC system. Once figuring out how the app works, AirMap can facilitate "automatic authorization" from your smartphone. LAANC has also been adding controlled air spaces into the system at pretty fast pace – my local airport (and controlled air space) being added in May. For flight conditions as part of my pre-flight prep, I use UAV Forecast. This app provides an amazing amount of information in an easy to absorb format (may not be operative in CA).
