Good information! I want to start including drone footage my in monetized YouTube videos. Do you recommend putting a disclaimer stating that you are a 107 commercial drone pilot in your comments, to avoid FAA inquiries about your drone footage?

  5. plot vibes on November 5, 2020 at 1:01 pm

  6. Hull Style Productions Change the World on November 5, 2020 at 1:03 pm

Congrats! Question: if I’ve already registered my Inspire 1 for hobby use, do I have to register again under Part 107??? I’m confused.

  14. Jc Rc outdoors tech on November 5, 2020 at 1:13 pm

How old do you have to be to get it

  15. Gamer Boy366 on November 5, 2020 at 1:16 pm

Hello man I’m a fan and I’m 13 I have a question when I register my drone do I have to do the part 107 or is it separate? Hopefully you understand.

  16. Ks Gaming on November 5, 2020 at 1:17 pm

In the UK we have caa cival aviation authority and you got to register the drone

  17. Hull Style Productions Change the World on November 5, 2020 at 1:17 pm

I guess a better question. By going through all the bs you had to go through did you actually become a better drone pilot?

  18. zorro fox on November 5, 2020 at 1:18 pm

Can you recommend any websites that will help me get my certificate.. scholarship online . Thank you

  19. mosephina on November 5, 2020 at 1:19 pm

I’m thinking you were legal since 1/19, when you passed the exam. Have you had any opportunities to make money, besides monetizing Youtube. I ask because I have completed my studies, and I’m ready to sit for the exam, but I’m thinking the $150 is not worth it without the opportunity to make money. My understanding is that the jobs are few and far between. That said, I would rather accept donations for the one off jobs, and spend my exam money on a couple Mavic Pro batteries. What do you think, Carson?

  20. Rocco Germani on November 5, 2020 at 1:20 pm

    Go Carson! Get those licences!

How much is the cost for the registration

  23. Franklin521 on November 5, 2020 at 1:23 pm

Congrats on the license man! I’m just wondering for us Canadians however, Is there a different thing to do if you want to get certified in this way? Specifically, do you need a license like this to monetize YouTube videos?

  24. xXDA_BEST#1Xx 101 on November 5, 2020 at 1:24 pm

Carson u are the best thanks heaps

Pls reply u have never done it to me 😃😃😃❤️❤️❤️

  25. Brandon Miller on November 5, 2020 at 1:25 pm

Getting that license and being a number one defense player in b-ball

  26. rjguess1 on November 5, 2020 at 1:27 pm

So if you register it for business or recreational it’s the same $5 price?

  27. Justin Winslow on November 5, 2020 at 1:28 pm

If a fly a drone for YouTube, but don’t monetize would that require it to be registered?

  28. Agent К on November 5, 2020 at 1:28 pm

Do you have to create 3 separate accounts? IACRA (for submitting the exam number etc), AMSRVS, and FAADroneZone?

  29. Yannick on November 5, 2020 at 1:35 pm

  30. deathraydave on November 5, 2020 at 1:36 pm

  31. Kason Byrd on November 5, 2020 at 1:37 pm

Do you have to pay 150$ two times . For the video and test.

  32. Khenz2328 Mardo on November 5, 2020 at 1:38 pm

    How much sir

  33. Fly Wright Drones on November 5, 2020 at 1:41 pm

Soooo….. if you renew the license every two years and take the required test, is there another 150 charge involved?

  34. Zachary C on November 5, 2020 at 1:43 pm

what about if you are just using your drone to make youtube videos? would you still have to have a license since that is your reason to go out to make drone videos?

  35. Brandon Garven on November 5, 2020 at 1:44 pm

  36. FilmWithTheron on November 5, 2020 at 1:46 pm

Hey man dope content. I just bought my third drone the mavic pro and I am a YouTube filmmaker. Feel free to check out my channel and tell me what you think 🙂 Maybe we could collaborate or something.

    First comment
    And congrats on the license

  39. CHOPPERGIRL's AIRWAR on November 5, 2020 at 1:50 pm

A total fucking government rip off but I guess I will get one for no other reason to facilitate getting a job doing this horseshit. Fuck the Police state.
Not that there are any jobs doing this, flying these for any kind of money it’s kind of a crackhead pipe dream.
    No demand.
And nobody will ever ask to see this in the field. If anybody does, I’m going to tell them to phuck off whether I have one or not.

  40. Melvin Alcantara on November 5, 2020 at 1:51 pm

Congrats.. one question my editing software do you use??

  41. Pedro V on November 5, 2020 at 1:52 pm

Mr carson, I registered my dron on FAA but my permit is not 107, so I recib 4 sticker and my plastic ID …my cuestion is this!!!!!….with the registration how many drones can I fly????…only 1???

  42. Dennis Penn on November 5, 2020 at 1:54 pm

Is the license requirement for self powered flight?
Like if I launch my GoPro from a humongous slingshot mega thousands of feet into the air, do I need a license to sell the photos?

  43. Mel Zierke on November 5, 2020 at 1:54 pm

If not a 107 pilot. Can you give away a picture you have taken to a person.?

  44. TIR3D LIVE on November 5, 2020 at 1:58 pm
