  2. Fly Wright Drones on July 19, 2021 at 12:06 am

Soooo….. if you renew the license every two years and take the required test, is there another 150 charge involved?

  3. Hull Style Productions Change the World on July 19, 2021 at 12:07 am

So did you actually fly? Im only asking in hope that you did. Otherwise what is the point?

  5. Franklin521 on July 19, 2021 at 12:08 am

Congrats on the license man! I’m just wondering for us Canadians however, Is there a different thing to do if you want to get certified in this way? Specifically, do you need a license like this to monetize YouTube videos?

  6. Mel Zierke on July 19, 2021 at 12:08 am

If not a 107 pilot. Can you give away a picture you have taken to a person.?

  7. rjguess1 on July 19, 2021 at 12:09 am

So if you register it for business or recreational it’s the same $5 price?

  8. Hull Style Productions Change the World on July 19, 2021 at 12:13 am

I guess a better question. By going through all the bs you had to go through did you actually become a better drone pilot?

  9. Jakkuhh on July 19, 2021 at 12:26 am

If a fly a drone for YouTube, but don’t monetize would that require it to be registered?

  14. Just Send TV on July 19, 2021 at 12:36 am

  20. FunPlacesToFly.com on July 19, 2021 at 12:39 am

Good information! I want to start including drone footage my in monetized YouTube videos. Do you recommend putting a disclaimer stating that you are a 107 commercial drone pilot in your comments, to avoid FAA inquiries about your drone footage?

  21. Mdelbeck1 on July 19, 2021 at 12:39 am

Congrats! Question: if I’ve already registered my Inspire 1 for hobby use, do I have to register again under Part 107??? I’m confused.

How long did it take to study for the part 107 test

  24. CHOPPER GIRL on July 19, 2021 at 12:43 am

A total fucking government rip off but I guess I will get one for no other reason to facilitate getting a job doing this horseshit. Fuck the Police state.
Not that there are any jobs doing this, flying these for any kind of money it’s kind of a crackhead pipe dream.
    No demand.
And nobody will ever ask to see this in the field. If anybody does, I’m going to tell them to phuck off whether I have one or not.

  25. Zachary C on July 19, 2021 at 12:47 am

what about if you are just using your drone to make youtube videos? would you still have to have a license since that is your reason to go out to make drone videos?

  26. zorro fox on July 19, 2021 at 12:50 am

Can you recommend any websites that will help me get my certificate.. scholarship online . Thank you

Hello man I’m a fan and I’m 13 I have a question when I register my drone do I have to do the part 107 or is it separate? Hopefully you understand.

  37. Jc Rc outdoors tech on July 19, 2021 at 12:57 am

How old do you have to be to get it

  38. mosephina on July 19, 2021 at 1:01 am

I’m thinking you were legal since 1/19, when you passed the exam. Have you had any opportunities to make money, besides monetizing Youtube. I ask because I have completed my studies, and I’m ready to sit for the exam, but I’m thinking the $150 is not worth it without the opportunity to make money. My understanding is that the jobs are few and far between. That said, I would rather accept donations for the one off jobs, and spend my exam money on a couple Mavic Pro batteries. What do you think, Carson?

  39. deathraydave on July 19, 2021 at 1:02 am

After school ends, I’m going to try

  40. Kason Byrd on July 19, 2021 at 1:03 am

Do you have to pay 150$ two times . For the video and test.

  41. Dennis Penn on July 19, 2021 at 1:03 am

Is the license requirement for self powered flight?
Like if I launch my GoPro from a humongous slingshot mega thousands of feet into the air, do I need a license to sell the photos?
