Just started watching you today and I’m enjoying the videos. Just bought my 2nd drone this weekend and I’m trying to get as much info as possible before flying it.

I’m not able to get LAANC authorization from AirMap anymore. They don’t appear on the FAA website either.
I like to use the Airspacelink app for pilots

Thank you for the video. I have a question: It’s correct request a LAANC if the fly plan is in not controlled air space?

Great video! I just got authorization via KittyHawk to fly tomorrow in Class D airspace near where I live. I got the Text authorization message from the FAA. However, my DJI Mavic Pro still shows the area as a "No Fly" zone. How do I get the info "into" my Mavic so it will allow me to take off? Thanks for your help.

Can you please do more impressions of you calling a tower to let them know you’re flying near there! LOL

  15. Arizona Lifestyle on May 19, 2022 at 7:04 pm

What would happen if in your case you flew to 325 ft? When the ceiling is 300

  16. Jeremy - Williams Aerial on May 19, 2022 at 7:08 pm

Should finish the video with how to unlock your dji drone. Cause then you get there and cant take off.

Great job Dronr – to the point and easy to understand.

  26. Hyperacusis Wikipedia on May 19, 2022 at 7:23 pm

The phone thing you mentioned, I too did that but as a licensed aircraft pilot, I would use my portable handheld radio to stay in contact with the tower. It’s always best to "communicate the hazard" as we used to say as aviators and in the military. I’m "rusty" and LAANC is new to me, so now I’m back to "square 1" and learning from you through your video. Thanks for putting this on YouTube.

My matrice 210 just doesn’t unlock and its infuriating.

  29. P ar on May 19, 2022 at 7:28 pm

I’m 4 minutes into a 7 minute how to video about laanc and you have said nothing about how to use it… nice. So look elsewhere. Another "don’t recommend channel" clicked.

  30. Reggie Doe on May 19, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Off topic question. What is the best drone for a budget of less than $500.

  31. jdp1956 on May 19, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Thank you very much for the great video. I would like to apply for my 107, what’s the best way to go about it? Thank you very much and God bless.

  32. Justin Arndt on May 19, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Mr. Edwards, I enjoy your videos man! I am taking the 107 this month. Wish me luck.

Question: Could you do a video on "How to" for mapping? and the average charge for client work for mapping? I have heard there are several apps that pilots can use for mapping but wanted to know what you would recommend.

    Stay safe!

    Justin
