  5. Ants Drone on May 19, 2021 at 2:52 am

Awesome video man thank you for the information you did a great job at laying everything out. I really would like to get into FPV but the price seems a little bit steep for me right now. I’m saving up for the Mavic 3. I have flown DJI drones Since 2015. I’m really into cinematography and photography but the reason why I want to get into FPV is because I’ve seen some really awesome cinematic video shot with them. I’m definitely going to subscribe!

Hello Greg, I just wanted to know how to connect the Goggles to this drone

  9. Neversink Makes on May 19, 2021 at 2:55 am

Thanks for a very helpful video! What are your thoughts on starting off with DJI’s digital FPV, other than the price?

  10. BIG STR on May 19, 2021 at 2:56 am

This is a very expensive hobby. I want to get into fpv drones but evrything is to expensive. I don’t want to buy a really expensive drone just to destroy it😬

  11. Nick Ducusin on May 19, 2021 at 2:57 am

I just saw your video and I really like the goggles and all the features but can you give me another link because this one says it’s not available. Thanks

I want to buy my first fpv drown and i found an affordable freestyle drown should i get started whith a freestyle drown?

  14. John Kenney on May 19, 2021 at 3:02 am

Is there such a thing as a simulator for regular non-FPV drones? My concern is, I want to be able to envision the "return" and get acclimated to the mirror movements, and I’m thinking if I jump into FPV I will ruin my muscle memory. If you get my meaning. Or maybe since there are fewer protections, FPV is the non-wimpy way to go. Thoughts? Know of any videos on this topic? Great video here, BTW.

  20. Daily TikTok Intake on May 19, 2021 at 3:08 am

I have a question, let’s say i only have enough money to buy a radio controller, should I buy it now and keep practicing while I save money for the rest, or should I just wait until I have enough money? And also as a teenager working in a supermarket, is it a good idea to get into this hobby?

  21. The Pool Guy ABnation on May 19, 2021 at 3:09 am

Greg , Love your video and I have bought all of the products you suggested I am a Dji flyer so forgive me I am a one box buyer. I am used to all of what I need coming in one box, that includes THE BATTERIES! LOL could you please add on notes that you need special batteries for both the controller and the headset (not Included). It took me watching a few other videos to understand what the heck a 18650 battery is (for the fat shark) and the correct Taranis battery pack (2000mAh 7.2V NiMH LiPo battery) for the controller. I am also learning about the differences between a 1S and 2S (1S =3.8vt and 2S=7.6vt) battery that can be used by the Emax TinyHawk2 and what the differences are when it comes to performance and proper application.

There’s more and more of these small channels popping up and we need to support every single one. It’s amazing to see our fantastic hobby growing along with it’s great community. Liked and subbed, thank you for doing what you do!

  23. Jom Boi on May 19, 2021 at 3:12 am

The only question I have is are different transmitters comparable with different receivers or do I have to make sure my transmitter and receiver are compatible and same with the goggles or is it just comparable with most or all?

  24. Antonio Rigó on May 19, 2021 at 3:13 am

Thanks man, great vids, love your Fight Tips content as well!

  25. Craig on May 19, 2021 at 3:13 am

Great video man. I’m using DJI stuff at the moment but really want to get into FPV after seeing the shots that are possible. This was extremely helpful.

  26. Rui Machado on May 19, 2021 at 3:13 am

Its a good video, but you contradict yourself. You say cost wise to go for a "cheap" drone to see if one like to fly, and the suggest a RC and googles that cost 5x the price of the drone. I think what should have suggest 1st is a simulator, inexpensive, compatible with console controllers, so you don’t need to buy anything else, and you immediately know if you get the basics of flying and enjoyment out of it. After that you can plan ahead you purchases, going for a fully built drone, or a DYI drone. Thanks again for the video and promoting drones in general.

  27. Thomas Baruzier on May 19, 2021 at 3:14 am

    Greg: recommend a 800$ setup

Me with a 5 inch drone that go at 150km/h + rc + googles (receiver + plastic vr lmao) at 250$: 😂😂😂

  28. Mr Toast on May 19, 2021 at 3:15 am

I didn’t realise how damn expensive this hoby is…

  29. Chester Loo0 on May 19, 2021 at 3:16 am

Its all toys buddy. Even your racing drone.

  30. Jaelson Carvalho on May 19, 2021 at 3:17 am

Hey Greg, I just wanna let you know that your content is really awesome, thanks for sharing it with us, much appreciated and you got a new sub. I have a question and I hope someone can help me since in the video Gregs uses a FrSky Taranis QX7 to connect to a Mac OS and fly in the simulator, so I’m wondering about that compatibility because I have the same computer and I’m planning to buy the same RADIO (controller).

  31. Robert Lance on May 19, 2021 at 3:19 am

    thanks A LOT!

  32. DM McKaskey on May 19, 2021 at 3:23 am

Great video Greg, I just set up my tinyhawk 2 with my x7s w/ xjt and you helped me out. I did need to pause every few steps to catch up. but its great to see videos like this.

  33. Chalo Sandoval on May 19, 2021 at 3:23 am

Can i use the controller that you recommend on a rc car too?

I have a couple of cars, so in case o dont like drones at least i could use the controller for my cars

  34. JimmyBamSlam on May 19, 2021 at 3:24 am

Question: Can I use the goggles in place of my computer monitor when playing the simulator??

  35. EthanPlays on May 19, 2021 at 3:26 am

Anyone recommend and good goggles live been looking at the each one ev100 but I saw reviews and it not that good I’m looking for 300 dollar max budget any help

  36. Jason Kao on May 19, 2021 at 3:26 am

Is there a fpv drone the has a low power mode and put a gopro on for pictures and a accessory screen instead of Googles under 5000??

  37. Michael Zeng on May 19, 2021 at 3:26 am

Hi Greg, do you know when I get Velocidrone, should I get the Micro Class Quads, or the Velocidrone Combat, or the Mega Class Quadss or The Champion Series with the Velocidrone Licence for the best to learn how to fly an fpv drone? I am a beginner drone flyer and has some experience with drones.

  38. Le fat Pug on May 19, 2021 at 3:27 am

Hey, just looking into this now and wondering, you seem pretty advanced at this, so I have a question. Are there any other bang-for-your-buck controllers you know of? I checked Amazon for the controller you posted and it is out of stock, and does not look like it will be going back into stock anytime soon.

  39. Tam roston on May 19, 2021 at 3:27 am

I’m just seeing your video for the first time. Your video covered everything important to be able to start flying and be part of the drone community. Thanks for your awesome video!
Can you give an update on goggles and drone for 2021? I went to look for the goggles in your link but amazon seems to have trouble finding those goggles in your link.
I found the radio. Great price. Under two hundred dollars.

  44. Linkin Emerson on May 19, 2021 at 3:41 am

Hey, just looking into this, havent gotten a sim yet as I wasnt sure about if I needed a transmitter etc yet. Have you ever used the DRL sim or no?

  45. Woody Wang on May 19, 2021 at 3:41 am

We have a couple of those radios, both in white to..haha. Great radio for the money and just a good all around radio that just works and comes with a lot of features others dont.

    "I recommend u get a *toy* first"

  50. Martin Reus on May 19, 2021 at 3:44 am

I wouldn’t recommend a qx7.. pick something a little bit more expensive like an X9D, because if you want to upgrade the radio to a crossfire, it will not be possible with the first one.. ended up making this mistake 🙂
