Can you use that controller on the computer for simulator practice?
Cool video,, 👍👍
However,,, I’m still not too much for Gov style flying. Old fashioned I reckon !! lol
Keep up the good work tho,, you’l be a pro in no time.
That was AWESOME Sean. You are a natural for flying. I think you are gonna love a Cinedrone for sure with the content you create. The shots you will be able to get will be mind blowing. 👍👍👍
Great start, Sean! Loved seeing you fly acro…it’s a new beginning and you’ll be hooked! Next time I’m in Colorado, we’ll be rippin’ up those mountains in the background!
Sean, I’m enjoying your learning curve; doin great. I just ordered the TinyHawk package, one day delivery from amazon. Thought I’d give it a try. Maybe I’m not too old yet. I’ll continue to follow your "journey".
Hahaha dude I started out with the tiny hawk freestyle 2 pretty much did the same process and as soon as I got into acro mode I was having a blast on my 5th pack then I started diving trees and broke two arms. Now I’m running the tinyhawk 2 which is not the freestyle and it’s sooo much harder to break. I did by a second freestyle 2 and fixed the bottom plate and solder in two new motors of the one I broke and I just can’t get enough. I need goggles that can record tho but I’m just going to get the DJI set up after a lot more practice
Nice job got the Betafpv kit a few days ago cant seem to get the thing to fly yet but I wil keep trying .love the new content. Great video!!!!!
That was cool Buddy!
I’d be interested to know if it’s still working after 2 months. I wish I had read all the facebook group posts about issues with the flight controller. Crossing my fingers for you. The Emax products are really fun, while they last. After 2 Emax products that stopped working randomly, I’m not in high hopes. Really wanted to like them with all the good product reviews. What’s missing out there is the longevity. Emax listens to their customers and have done a lot of development in each iteration of their releases which makes me want to love them, but just wish they used more reliable components so we’re not stuck wondering whether to spend $60 on a new flight controller, buy a replacement Tinyhawk for $100 or go with their competition. Hopefully you never have to find out but don’t be too disappointed if you finish an awesome flight only to wake up the next morning to your quad not taking flight or the VTX loses reception. Design, intention, everything is perfect except the electronics. Once they get that moving along, they’ve got and incredible future ahead of them.
Very Cool, Sean, but the boys have taken you to the DARKSIDE, LOL! Dang, your flights were outstanding, especially the Acro Mode, well done. Well, you better brush up on your sodering/rebuilding skills because I can see your going ALL in with FPV. You sure are lucky having that open park to fly in, safe and no one around to bother you. Good luck, and wish you all the best as your venture into the DARK, DARKSIDE! Thank you, Sean, and take care.
Sean
Extra 1s and 2s batteries…are there 3rd party ones for TinyHawk? I’m getting the TH 2 and the TH s.
Tried FPV once but got seasick and disoriented didn’t like that feeling but anyway awesome video
I think you guys have convinced me…🤔
Off to a good start and that is what I have but white. The house is a bit small and it seems like there is always some wind when I have some free time. I have liftoff for a sim and when things settle down this Fall, I hope to do to a large indoor building where they have soccer and baseball and learn in there. And getting to a cinewhoop drone is where I’m aiming for – I think.
Ozz – MORE FPV! 😉
Doning good better than I bv would
great video sean i think for your first few days u did great .
That was so much fun to watch! Your excitement is contagious.
Thanks for watching. If you want to get into FPV i strongly suggest one of these TinyHawk 2 kits –

Happy FPV journey Sean….. I have been putting in simulator time and need to decide what FPV system to get into… I really can’t stand the analog signal noise I have with my older camera drones. I am spoiled and have moved passed that. To be totally honest, I have been holding off with rumor that DJI was coming out with a FPV drone. I will be watching your journey…. Thanks for sharing.
Beep can be set up in betaflight and be bound to a switch
Verry cool like to see more
Looks like you were having a great time !
Hey man I’d switch the transmitter out for a better one. mainly because the one that comes with the tinyhawk can be twitchy on the throttle. also there is a switch on the transmitter to beep the beep the motors. (dont remember the switch position.) also with the tinyhawk 2 you can run " 2s" which is a bit more power. Also watch your battery levels because if you run your battery too low then you’ll start messing up the battery. 3.3v should be your minimum.
Good Job Sean stick time is your friend👍🏻👍🏻🔥
😂
Set up the beeper in Betaflight. .
Looked like a ton of fun Brother. Can’t wait to see your excitement as you level up. Thanks for sharing and for keepin’ it real.
You should put arm and disarm on the left switch and your modes on the right
Love my mavic air 2, but I’m super intrigued by these little bastards!
You got this. 😎 we all progress differently. My problem is I get bored fast. Your next move is DJI digital. I also learned that ACRO is so much more fun. Hard at first, but worth the big step forwards. Great flying, way better than my first TinyHawk experience. 🤓👌🏻
Hey Sean hope your having fun with your FPV Journey. I saw a couple of kits like that. Thinking about getting one just to play around with. Loved your video on your beginning to FPV. Thanks for sharing.
Sean, Great Job! You did very well. That Acro IS a little squirrely. Loved the little crash reel 🤣🤣 I’m putting one in my "All Acro" video. Take Care Looking forward to the next one.
WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE!
I dunno if it’s been said but there should be a spot on your goggle strap where you can place your battery so it doesn’t dangle. Or you could buy a different strap where the battery mounts on the side of ur goggle strap. And for the beeper, I don’t know if there is another switch somewhere but if not you can go to your modes tab in betaflight and set up ur horizon mode to the beeper unless u like horizon mode in which case I don’t know where you’d set it. I think maybe if u turn ur controller off when u crash it’ll start beeping automatically maybe if it’s set like that on betaflight from the factory.
great video man! flying FPV looks awesome
