Thanks for this man! Can you give me some more locations where you shot in Santorini as now I only feel the southern tip with the lighthouse is an available option?

So, when I fly my drone within 50 meters, I don’t need all of that right? Is this still valid?

Very nice and clear instructions! I would like to ask if you know how to fly over historical area e.g. Parthenon 🙂

So if my drone is less than 250grams i’ll be ok to fly without any approval as long as it no farther 50 meters?

I live in Greece and I can say that drone regulations are not enforced here. Many people actually approach you and watch you fly the drone. Of course you need to respect other people and for example make sure you don’t fly over archaeological sites or near military installations. I’ve had cops sitting next to me while I was flying my drone and they didn’t bother me.

Which place is the most difficult to fly drone? Any Comments

  12. Santhosh Radhakrishna on April 22, 2022 at 6:39 pm

Does this even include for drones less than 250grams ?

Hello, nice video. I just have one question. There is a possibility of me going to Greece this summer. Does the drone need to be registered to send the e-mail or it can not be registered, I just need to send an e-mail…? Because in the form it says UAS Registration Number. So, here, my question is does it need to be registered or I can leave that empty (UAS Registration Number). My drone is just 249g (Mavic Mini). Thank you…

Hi, you mentioned in your video that you flew a drone in Santorini. What is the process of getting approval there? From what I can see on the DAGR map, the whole island is pretty much yellow. Thanks!

With these shots you should be given a permanent approval.. 🔥❤️

How enforcing are the authorities now? When i was last in GR in 2017, i didnt fly in Athens as our family home is in a populated area.. but on Patmos, Amorgos, and Evia, it seemed very, very laid back. Again, i was really only at beaches, away from people, over water, or directly above my family homes in those areas, where nobody seemed to care, not even police.

That being said, i dont intend on ignoring regulations but wondering if these measure apply to areas “off the beaten path”, so to speak

Superb video man. This is exactly what I’m planning to do in 2-4 weeks in Greece. Any idea for this same thing in Croatia ?

Hey man, thanks for your video. So how can you plan ahead with the coordinates? For example. I will visit meteora. But how will I know the coordinates in advance? As they require the coordinates for every flight?

Hi, I’m heading to Greece in August with a drone that’s under 250g, so as long as I keep within 50m I don’t need approval? I’m heading to Zante(Kalamaki beach) and when I check the area on Drone Aware its within the Aerodrome Traffic Zone. Is it ok to fly as long as I stay under 120m?

    Thanks

    Thank you for the video!
So you cannot fly within the yellow no matter what? They wont give you approval within the yellow?
