While the FAA has approved flying over private property while in approved FAA controlled airspace, is it still legal to use a building or privately owned location, building, etc in a commercial video, film, movie, etc. without getting owner’s permission, the same way you do in filmmaking? Since… well…you know…. basically if you are making a video with a drone, with a camera to make money with is…. Commercial filmmaking.🙄🤬

So many rules in the USA… But I guess, for the moment, it’s still easier than using a drone in Canada!
    Oh! Canada!

I have few questions, I not understanding airmap, my question is can I fly in my area. I live Santee California, with is east of the city of San Diego, but I also live near a small airport. I fly a mavic mini as a hobbyist, on the go fly app it ask for authorization for the airport i give it. It say I can fly 100 ft. I’m I doing the right thing when flying in my area

  19. Daniel Vazquez on March 19, 2021 at 12:42 am

Here in CA if we stop on an ANT we probably get fined. Flying drones in good places in Cali is a f.king struggle!

  25. David c Goodwin on March 19, 2021 at 12:51 am

That was funny and I have to say it is a brilliant idea to ask your local people for information about the subject of your flight. I live in Scotland and I have seen a lot of videos from the US and they are Wacko on the way Drones are being used by all the people that understand them and I am glad to be a part of the future for Drones. Stay Safe bro and I love your Tattoos lol. 🌪️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👾

  26. Michael Jonathan S. on March 19, 2021 at 12:51 am

Can you explain the return to home flop that happened? That part freaked me out and I’m not sure what you mean about setting the location higher than the building.

  27. Travis Pendell on March 19, 2021 at 12:52 am

For as easy as it is to fly these modern drones $25 for an hour flight is steep imo…. And I have a feeling if you werent making a video you wouldnt have paid so much.. I would have also for the video.

What type of drone should i get

  45. Denspion on March 19, 2021 at 1:18 am

great video Ken, have subscribed, I’m a new drone owner, and actually haven’t gotten to take her out yet as it’s rainy season here in Seattle and I live close to the airport, I love the camera quality of your Drone and am quite jealous! mines a budget and probably better for a beginner, i went with a Holy stone HS720E. I’m still learning about the apps such as Airmap and such, I only plan to use it as a hobbyist for now, but would like to one day get that Part 107 so I can use it on my channel as I grow.
