  3. A Frog on May 11, 2021 at 2:27 am

If your battery is too weak to provide the amps, you can puff the pack and potentially crash the quad, just saying.
Ot use a calculator like me 😉
And look at reviews and talk to people about batteries, just like motors, esc`s or anything else..

  14. Medieval Muffin on May 11, 2021 at 2:36 am

first you tell exactly what you have to pay attention to and then you say that the manufacturers don’t give a damn anyway and write something on it… how am I supposed to find out, if I don’t have the battery in my hand, if what is written on it is inside… I have to measure and check it… well, but thanks for the info anyway 😀

so a 14.8V 3400mAh Lipo Battery 4S would be to heavy for this drone? what would be the correct battery for more flight time?

I’m looking for the best 2S and 3S 850mAh batteries on the market. Can anyone give me some pointers?

  25. Erica Lauzon on May 11, 2021 at 2:48 am

The 2200 was a plane battery. For one motor it is fine and does have a high discharge rate.

Is it bad to use say a 1800mah 6s for a quad that says 1500mah 6s batteries are good for it?

  34. AntimatePcCustom on May 11, 2021 at 2:57 am

must say im VERY disapointed in my turnigy 1.3amp 4s battery for my "99$" build. but perfect for my wildcat fixed wing. that said. when ever i get above 45 amp im in a high risk of hitting voltage sag/dip call it what you want. 🙂 even though it should support up to +80 amp. never had a hot battery issue or hot motors. but the shu 2800 kv motors i got. are sooo damn hungry. that im getting 5020 props for it instead of 5030. (tri blade) or 5030 duo blade. and thinking about getting a bigger battery. hence im here.
damage control i have in place so far. is a throttle limit set to 70%?! and even at that. i get voltage sag when flying agressive.
