It feels stupid when finnish goverment bought 10billion euros forth of F35 😂🤮🤮🤮🤮

What if drones have silver or glass covering, could the lazers work on them then?

  2. JC Woodman on April 25, 2022 at 6:16 pm

The USN incidents off San Diego involving several DDs & civilian vessels seem to be somebody testing drone stalking at sea…🤔

  4. Abhyuday Sarkar on April 25, 2022 at 6:22 pm

The issue with drones conducting the functions of manned jet is that it’s not manned jet. In every combat scenario you need that human factor because at the end of the day machines don’t fight war, humans do.

  5. MrZZooh on April 25, 2022 at 6:22 pm

Nice. I like drones as long as I am not the target.

  6. crispy on April 25, 2022 at 6:25 pm

Drone Formation Flying – Looks like a Predator loitering until it’s not, then you have a few hundred individually armed quad-copters raining hell down upon you. Science Fiction writers are going to have a ball with all the options available.

  8. Tom Toss on April 25, 2022 at 6:27 pm

While drone warfare is the future, I disagree on your estimates of loss of civilian and military life (5:39). In WW1, Germany bombarded Paris and London while the allies blockaded Germany in order to starve civilians. In WW2, both sides bombed civilian targets. We nuked two cities in Japan. War has always had civilian casualties. We are in the age of total war, so civilians are first choice targets.

  9. Vedgr8 on April 25, 2022 at 6:27 pm

I am here after two IEDs were dropped on an Indian Airbase in Jammu by drones on 27/06/2021.

  10. elysian fields on April 25, 2022 at 6:30 pm

Okinawa transformed warfare: human manned drones almost took out the US navy. Missles and stealth drones will wipe out any adversary…the geographic logistics of war is totally compromised.
Once the "leaders/benefactors (banks)" are at risk wars end.

  12. Ron Lawson on April 25, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Look at what The drones have done to photography all of those awesome shots that would require require a expensive helicopter can be done with a drone !
Many photographers can purchase a drone and get awesome overhead pictures

  15. D.B Cooper on April 25, 2022 at 6:35 pm

They are just loitering warheads, the future is dangerous. Armour will need to roll with a networked CIWS or Electronic Warfare asset

  16. GiZMO SOLiD on April 25, 2022 at 6:37 pm

At 06:14, what is this footage from? What do you call this, radar?

  17. Maximilian John on April 25, 2022 at 6:37 pm

Why not just use proxi fuse shells like 30 or 40 mm autocannons against these small drones? Are proxy fuse still that expensive? Or is the small size and RCS of a drone hard to activate proxy fuse? This would be a more instant solution then directed energy weapons.

I work as a drone defender with many of these weapon systems and I applaud you for your amazing research and drones are a very real threat

  25. Ty N on April 25, 2022 at 6:42 pm

Check out China’s swarm of autonomous drones for their light shows. Then imagine the drones weaponized…

  26. Random Dude on April 25, 2022 at 6:42 pm

Seems outdated information, no mention of recent events.

  27. Brad Kaberline on April 25, 2022 at 6:42 pm

The mini gun would take down a swarm of drones

  28. smokey puppy on April 25, 2022 at 6:43 pm

Syrian rebels flew multiple drones to our makeshift airbase in Northern syria and the base was equipped with anti drone radars that would disrupt the radio signal for the drone/ operator and if it was a cheap drone it would fall down to the ground, if it was an expensive drone with pre programmed coordinates should the drone lose radio/ satellite signal it would return to the users pre set point which the radar would determine if it it was within 3 miles.

  29. Kristján Rúnarsson on April 25, 2022 at 6:44 pm

The ´far cheaper´ claim for the price tag is misleading. A drone with the capabilities of an F-35 is still going to cost the same to develop and acquire as manned equivalent. The cost of training up an F-35 pilot really isn’t the biggest cost factor here and operators of F-35 equivalent drones need expensive training too. Furthermore, let’s not forget that drone the Iranians hijacked, that is one thing that would never happen to a manned aircraft.

  30. Morten Lund on April 25, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Clay pigeon shooting. Do not forget these things hang in the air. They have limited armament but high speed. I predict that the next big thing is a relative cheap, maybe camera combined with radio/radar wave detector, magnetic field detector, sound detector and unmanned. Put them on cheap vehicle. Quad bike maybe. Arm them with a shot gun (maybe oversize) and auto aiming, auto loading. Produced in heigh enough numbers, they will be pretty cheap. But the important thing is their stealth mode – they have to be passive. They must not emit any waves or heat. This will force the drones higher up in the air, and the detection becomes easier. Now they can be taken down with longer range and maybe radar guided precision. But to completely stop them is not possible.

  32. Brad Kaberline on April 25, 2022 at 6:51 pm

And the bigger drones don’t know how well they would do against a heat seeker being it has a engine and a dog fight the pilot would have an advantage over the drone operator but not unstoppable thanks

  33. ctho admin on April 25, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Just think of it, war breaks out and no one can afford to fight it.

  34. Brad Kaberline on April 25, 2022 at 6:51 pm

And as far as drones go they have been around the sam missile is a fucking drone a rocket drone so they are not new 🙄

  35. Brad Kaberline on April 25, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Disagree if in a swarm the send up a missile blow it in the middle of the swarm depending on the drones do some damage

  36. George Christoforou on April 25, 2022 at 6:53 pm

It will be each other’s drones destroying people.

  37. JustKeith on April 25, 2022 at 6:55 pm

And also for the smaller drones make a rocket some what like a shotgun shell thanks

  43. ThatMtF TransGirl on April 25, 2022 at 7:05 pm

    I’m against Drones in warfare.

In my opinion machines are just that souless dolls standing in for a human who was too cowardly to be there and fight.

When a drone kills a person it’s wrong.

When a person kills a drone there’s no emotion.

What I believe is that war should be fought between humans not human on drone and drone on human nor drone on drone.

The world is becoming a lot like the animated tv series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

I want no part of it.

If anyone wants to know why.

Than you need only watch Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and focus on Trey’s Kushranada and his views.

  44. Mega Chonker on April 25, 2022 at 7:06 pm

The US is stuck in the past. Rival nations are being more creative.

  45. badwolf66 on April 25, 2022 at 7:06 pm

Imagine an entire swarm of drones with powerful lasers beams which can annihilate entire armies within days even hours.

Rheinmetall has a good defence system.

  48. Admiral Medjay on April 25, 2022 at 7:11 pm

I said the same thing over 12 years ago when companies like dji started delivering those quadcopters but people thought I was a crazy nerd for thinking about stuff like this smh…
Quite frankly the only thing stopping these dudes from using these drone swarms right now is the fact that usually criminals are narrow minded low IQ losers

  49. Bad Company on April 25, 2022 at 7:12 pm

before we know it war will be fought on a game of Squad

  50. GroovyVideo2 on April 25, 2022 at 7:14 pm
