Great video, loving the cinelog25! whats your opinion on that??

  2. Mac Thomson on July 1, 2021 at 11:20 pm

might be a dumb question… but how do you charge the controllers? do you take the 2S battery out and charge it on a 2S charger? Or can you simply plug in the controller via USB to charge it? total beginner here so take it easy on me hahah

  3. Emad Kawther on July 1, 2021 at 11:21 pm

    Awesome info!
THANKS! you just helped me out deciding purchase my first transmitter tango 2 )))

  4. Chiel on July 1, 2021 at 11:22 pm

So as a absolute beginner is it better getting the tx16s because there is more cheaper stuff out there that is compatible with it then with a tbs tango 2?

  5. Monica Wiant on July 1, 2021 at 11:24 pm

i don’t drone, but i love collecting drone controllers. thanks for giving me some new ideas for my collection. xo

I have had my control for months and for some reason still watched this. Geesh Matt! Why do your videos have to be so good?

Hi, I’ve had a very horrible experience with the betafpv lite radios, I’d suggest anyone to go for radiomaster T8 / iflight if8 radio. It’s 100 times better value for money and as easy to set up as the lite radio.

  8. Robertas Blaudziunas on July 1, 2021 at 11:27 pm

I was choosing between TX12 and T-lite. Went with TX16s in the end though.

  9. Steve M. on July 1, 2021 at 11:27 pm

Man I could have used this a few weeks ago lol. Fantastic explanation one of the best I’ve seen on YT. I too ended up going with a TX16S to start with on a simulator. Got a new sub from me. ✌️❤️

    mostly pretty solid info
maybe just reccomending crossfire was a little misguided especially with all the new modules (tracer, ghost, expresslrs etc)
very well put together and easy to digest for beginners

  11. Joshua Hayles on July 1, 2021 at 11:31 pm

Really helpful video man, thanks a lot!

  12. Kyrose Bates on July 1, 2021 at 11:32 pm

Do you know if there is a radio out there that uses a trigger for the throttle?

  13. BK FPV on July 1, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Quality stuff as always. Top notch channel👍🏻 Thank you for sharing.

Btw… Starting over I would go all in on a crossfire setup from day 1.

Very interesting video. I’m getting near FPV mainly thanks to you and your contents which are perfect for beginners.

  18. Kubi on July 1, 2021 at 11:45 pm

as a fpv newbie I appreciate you! think i will pick up a TX16S as the radio that was included with my tinyhawk 2 is GARBAGE… too bad my dx6 is out of date… what a waste.

What type of laptop is that behind you? Thanks. Rather random I know. Great video thanks

  22. toptarantula on July 1, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Newbie question. So crossfire only relates to the radio/controller protocol, and has nothing to do with the video transmission/reception? I ask because I bought the betafpv advanced kit 2 (off the back of a previous video recommendation) and the big issue I’m having is video quality/range in the goggles. Already lost one quad. I guess there’s no point in being able to control a quad at greater range if you can’t see where it is?

  23. MrFormenis on July 1, 2021 at 11:52 pm

too bad I ordered my first controller 2 weeks ago 😀

  24. S.L. Astronomy on July 1, 2021 at 11:52 pm

Is it ok if my transmitter has no switches or do I really need them?

  25. Rwb on July 1, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Great point, always love your perspective on these things. You already inspired me in a previous video to get the t16s and it a fantastic piece of kit. One thing to mention though is it doesn’t work with brand new frsky xm+ receivers, frsky changed the firmware on them to prevent use with third-party Radios. The fix wasn’t very easy for a beginner but there’s at least one good guide on it: https://youtu.be/RlNMo6Lpy4c
Hope this helps someone it took me forever to find myself.👍

  26. Photo Lab on July 1, 2021 at 11:53 pm

    Out of context question :
Is it important to calibrate your charger ?

  27. Micromation on July 1, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Is there any particular reason why in RC world noone has designed controller with full size joystick for finer control instead of those tiny shitty thumbsticks? I get it for drone racing/freestyle where going quickly in the opposite directions has it’s merit but for slowed, steady flight proper size stick seems like a no-brainer. What am I missing here?

  31. BreFPV23 on July 1, 2021 at 11:57 pm

  32. Keep'n Upp on July 1, 2021 at 11:57 pm

I want to replace the small M8.5 camera lens in some of my equipment with 60 or 45 degree field of view instead of the wide 150 degree field of view currently installed. Does anyone know where I can get new lenses?

  35. Oscar on July 1, 2021 at 11:58 pm

Hey Matt, where do you get your background music from? I’m looking for some tunes to put on my freestyle stuff! Keep up the awesome work!

  36. Ken Sherman on July 2, 2021 at 12:01 am

I picked up a Jumper T-Lite and have been using it on my simulator until my drone comes in. It runs Open Tx, will support bunches of protocols out of the box, and I really like for small form factor. You do need to dig to find learn how to set this up, but in my view it’s kinda like FPV in general, a big puzzle that needs to be put togther.

  37. Alec McCaul on July 2, 2021 at 12:02 am

If you ever end up back in Canada can you make some videos on drone licensing

I fly mode 3, I started flying mode 2 with a beta fpv starter kit and it was completely unnatural to me, I crashed that thing so much that I broke it in 3 days, my brain was fighting against muscle memory built years before. I grew up playing lots of racing games, First person shooters and a saga called Ace Combat, an arcade fighting jet game found on the PSOne all the way to the PS4, played them all. With all of that muscle memory built since the 2000s I found that flying in mode 3 just felt at home and everything made sense. If you’re a gamer and are considering starting FPV I definitely recommend flying in mode 3, pitch and roll on the left, yaw and throttle on the right, that layout is what most playstation and console games have in their games

  43. Zytron Smith on July 2, 2021 at 12:10 am

The Tango 2 is absolutely BAD ASS, one of the best radios out there and that module bay can do everything…. 🙂

  44. fpvyln on July 2, 2021 at 12:11 am

Your videos are very helpful. Im glad i watch them and feel more confident starting this hobby 🙂 Could you maybe make a video escpecially for the tx16s and which batteries you use/recommend? :)Thank you so much for your awesome work 🙏😊

  45. SkeyeBall_FPV on July 2, 2021 at 12:12 am

Another excellent video from Pochwat University! I wish I had these when I was getting into FPV. People don’t know how lucky they are these days lol

  46. Matt Pochwat on July 2, 2021 at 12:12 am

Seems like a lot of people think I should’ve included the Jumper T-Lite as well. I haven’t had a chance to try that one out yet but it might be worth looking into!

  47. nikotttin on July 2, 2021 at 12:13 am

    Nice one Matt.

    Some comments:
The betafpv has had a lot of bad press with its gimbals being odd. Secondly the lack of screen makes it a pain with multiple drones. So if you get a whoop and you grow into an outside flyer…

Another comment: I bought a QX7 years ago. Learnt on it. At some point I realized that I cannot do those fast stick movements you sometimes need. Why? Because the full throw is too long. I don’t think I have small hands… or at least it is not noticeable!
I switched to the Tango2 and my precision and speed on a track increased significantly…

Cheers and thanks again for the beautiful videos! Lot of work go into it and the result is very good. I like the slower very clear pace. This is unique to your channel…
