Flying Recreational Drones in France | VLOG | Advice for tourists

Given the recent hype about the Paris video uploaded by a UK Tourist which absolutely went against all common sense and respect to other enthusiasts in France. I made this video to share my experience of flying in the south over the weekend as well as some advice for flying your drone in France when you visit.

The picture of that lighthouse was really cool!
Me personally, living in the SF Bay Area, I have to drive a good 10-20 miles to fly in a safe area.
That’s ok though, gets us out of the house. That’s a big part of it anyways.
    Beautiful stills Anthony!

Nice video, question though how do you get land owners permission to take off and land ? Or don’t you need it in France?

Thank you Anthony. I was planning to bring the drone with me for the summer holidays. So, this is just what I was looking for. As always thanks for a top-video.

Thank you so much Anthony for sharing this. I was looking into purchasing a drone and fly in France, however I doubt that will happen now. The whole area where I go is RED! What a shame they restrict us so much. Thanks again

Is it allowed to use a DJI mavic mini (249 grams) drone in Chamonix, where flying is prohibited or altitude is limited?

Hey Anthony! So I’m currently living in France but I’m from Panama. I’m super confused about the drone insurance, I don’t know if I have to get one from France, from Panama or is there like an international one. It’s kind of frustrating. So if you could help me out, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
