Can I fly drone in Switzerland say DJI mini 2 or DJI air 2s ? Or should I need license? Say if I go to Dubai or Switzerland or any European country or usa , do I need more then 1 online license?

Unfortunately the FAA is making it more difficult to fly drones recreationally. In my opinion the have made flying recreationally far too complicated. Rather than having recreational pilots learn the details of different classifications of airspace. Keep in simple. No flight within 5 miles of an airport. No flight over 400′ above the ground. No flight above people or moving vehicles. Give way to manned aircraft. No flight beyond your ability to see the drone. These very simple rules would cover 99% of the safety concerns. I’m a part 61 (manned aircraft, instrument rated) and part 107 (commercial drone) pilot. I have no problem learning and abiding by rules and regulations but I think the FAA went overboard in creating regulations for individuals flying recreationally. And based on conversations I’ve had about those rules there is a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation generated because the rules have been made overly complicated.

Also remember foreign countries have different rules than United States. The term drone is misleading to the average person. It’s an unmanned aircraft system. That means RC airplanes and helicopters also. Just as an aside Disneyland/Disney world are prohibited areas . As the video says it’s important to do your homework and find out where you can and cannot fly. Some cities have designated areas also.

California does allow for flying in state parks unless a regional county makes it further restrictive. The catch is, many cities like Los Angels have their own code forbidding flying from city parks and there is no real state park near by Hollywood or downtown LA. And places near the beach like Malibu have been declared national park (rich people privacy). And then there is Orange County which has their own regulation banning drones from state parks within that county. Plus city laws about taking off from city property.
