Love how they used the Gealic and Scots lingo, made it feel more scottish. They are both such beautiful Languages.
I think I could hear David Tennant? 🤔

I love they showed the ‘Yin Yang’ and then stated the Scots word ‘Yin’ which means ‘One’. We are all one, very clever blend of Culture there.

For those wondering where they can hear the music – it is by a Skye based band called Niteworks, you can find them on spotify.

This is so upbeat I could cry. The production values are absolutely incredible, and inscrutable. This is so heartwarming. It makes me glad that I trod the same turf as these joyous yet macabre, brainwashed, cult members. Tom cruise and Scientology, move over, we have “weddings cancelled” and “good riddance to the last page torn from this wretched year.” Hogonany has it all including pedophiles enjoying last suppers. Edinburg, Scotland is it? I hear that the duchess of Cambridge, the gorgeous, vibrant, goddess of goodness and light will be joining you as you celebrate, what? The apocalypse?

  12. Harry Hayfield on September 2, 2022 at 8:40 pm

You may have used a little bit of CGI to place those drones in and around Edinburgh, but quite frankly who cares? That was a magnificent display and I hope will become a new tradition in the same vein as the firing of the one o’clock gun on Edinburgh Castle.

The Scottish government spent £400,000 on this silly film. So thank Nicola Sturgeon for it next time you struggle to put food on the table

Drone fireworks should be the way to go for the future of Scotlands fireworks hogmanay displays.. The powder fireworks are over… Plus the drone fireworks displays are endless… Peace

Can anybody tell me more about what the language at 3.45 is? Am I right in thinking its Scottish Gaelic? Can anybody tell me more about who is speaking it, and what she is telling us? Beyond beauty. I absolutely adore it. I am in love with the fact that you have managed to retain some of that ancient pagan integrity, against such force.

  37. lichtsignale2 on September 2, 2022 at 9:10 pm

What a beautiful message of hope. Our leaders are doing their best to turn every hope into a grotesque pantomime. They see our hope as weakness. They lie and cheat, deflect and divert all criticism. We are still confined and counting the passage of each day with a sense of relief that each setting sun marks another day we shan’t live again, waiting for nothing. How cheap they have made our lives that we should see each day slip away from us, while they plunder and steal and neglect their duties. We must demand a response to this pandemic that is humane and sustainable. All together. And when it’s over, we shouldn’t forget that there is a price to be paid for all of this, and we must take care to hold those who are responsible to account. This was a beautiful video, but I hope we’re not watching the same thing in 2022.

Happy new year, Edinburgh! Normally I would have returned on Friday January 22, but obviously that will not happen this year, but maybe later this year. Greetings from your favourite Norwegian!
