Why would anyone want to read while watching a video? Just do the voiceover please. You have the people and the gear.

will i have to register a syma x8g drone for the faa sake?

  6. Derp on July 3, 2021 at 11:37 pm

Enough of the drone laws! Why do I have to register and be put on a list just to fly my drone? It’s easier to own a gun than a drone in this ass-backwards country now.

My drone won’t even fire up if in a restricted area due to programing. More often than not I can fly it anywhere apart from near an airport which is fair enough. Stay out of peoples personal space and there should be no problems…

Meanwhile, drones are outright banned in NYC.

They can have as many rules as they want no one is going to follow them and it’s very difficult to enforce them 😂

The UK commercial rules are more stringent Carl but with good reason, so the non commercial guys can play providing they don’t place their right to have fun above the rights of every on else s safety. I would like to welcome all the US commercial outfits to this new era. As for the 12 years old below you can’t even sign a contract for commercial work yet so carry on playing and having fun till your old enough, just mind that what you do does not kill anyone by causing a road traffic accident or similar. BBE6pocok so do I but under the direct control of the ATC like all the other air users. Stewy 4198 if you have a machine that is over weight and unregistered surely they just nail you, if you are registered but not commercial then you have just supplied the evidence in a public forum when the pics are sold. This is how guys are getting nailed in the UK and they are using photogrammetric software to tell where you are and at what height. Not to mention the first question on the lips of any commercial client is quals & insurance!

The US has been slow to adopt but I can tell you from the UK this is good news for you guys and I wish you all the best and hope to fly with you soon, you have a stunning country in so many ways and sometimes its seems you don’t know how lucky you are.

case in point I just paid £1.20 for a litre of gas when the PPB is heading in the other direction!
