Episode 64. Drones: The Aerial Revolution

In this episode of Combat Approved, the viewers of the Zvezda TV will see the inevitable future: the mass implementation of unmanned aerial vehicles. There are already hundreds of different drones serving in the Russian Armed Forces, but in the near future both the quantity and quality of these robotic machines will increase many times over. In this episode, we will show you Russian drones that have already taken part in the military operation in Syria and completely new revolutionary developments. These are cargo copters for lifting cargo, including humans, and gliders capable of detecting saboteurs, aiming artillery at enemy positions, and tracking enemy movements even underwater. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before!

We will show you what this boat is capable of in the strongest storm and make a trip to the island of Gogland, from where in the 16th century Polish and Swedish corsairs went to rob merchant ships. Today it is one of the special forces’ training grounds. And this time we have a unique opportunity to imagine what would have happened if pirates of the 21st century had appeared on the island, and the crew of “Raptor” were ordered to eliminate them…

So now we know that this was filmed in 2016 as they mentioned the army games. That means they wait 4 years to allow the public to see these developments. I can only imagine what is taking place today in their design facilities. They took a licensed Israeli drone and made it ten times more capable and cheaper to use with the ability to do many different missions. Fascinating! Innovation is defiantly the strong suit of Russia now a days. I think sanctions has accelerated this development quite obviously. I hope they finish destroying those al nusra for the sake of human kind!

i think modern battlefield is many times scaryer than ww2 battkefieldf for exsample , how ibńdividusl soldier can survive even 20 minutes eith these new technologies. and i have think do we really need real soldiers on battkefiekd enynore because i hink it”s real blood and flesh soldies are almost unnecessary that kind of battkefield where enemy and own army eploy much of thede electronic ”monster” all over the battkefield. are soldied safe even when they rest allthough they have all guardians they think they need , because some drone can just fly in their stronghold and blow it’s self up and kill all people that happens to be inside , and that is only one throne what about swarm of thrones that some havwe bombs some r8ifle or oistol caliber weapons and some have HEAT warheads. i think base that have to suffer that kind of attack have been level totally and it’s is miracle if there is even one soldier alive ,but i think rhese machines makes excellent6 counter tettorist equipmeny. what better than send swarm of these some terrorist stronghold and let then do they thing and there is no even one live terroridt left. now terrorist have kill crowd of iinicent civilians what can be better if bring the war to them and what i mean we can send swarms of these drones to attack terrosrist and program they like that they jill all targets that they identify t oterrorist. maybe it”s at least goos terror tactic but in best situation when army patrols go to raje theur root thei find much teeroridst camp that are abandoned or all habitant are killed .wgat do think is this one potential way to ein war againt terror. and the cannabis and other milws drugs shut legalioze because then goverment can tske responbilty of traffiking and can also keeo all the many that drug trade make. then they can byu more trones ro armored cars to make rerrorist camps inspecting more safe .very cool invention

They are very primitive technology. You have to watch Turkiye’s drone technology. Our drones can be controlled by the satellite. Ukraine, Tunusia, Azerbaijan purchased our drones and they appreciated the drones. Watch the Turkiye’s force.

"There are hardly any competitors in the world either." LOL I know a couple college kids that could build a longer flying UAV. I can build a longer flying UAV and I dont have access to anything but OEM tech and stuff I design myself… Russia, this is not an impressive feat lol…. You can add solar capabilities, ground laser directed charging, etc and end up with a much longer flight time

i really like what the russians have to offer technologically, i’m a Flanker fan and have my respect for the S-400.
but this type of drone? Man, this is embarrassing. the yanks drive their global hawk around the Crimea at an altitude of 16,000m .. and you come with toys and a rubber catapult??? 🤦‍♂️
