Pricing and Full Specs:
EZ Pilot Beginner Indoor Racing Drone – With Controller & Goggle RTF

Learning to fly FPV? The EMAX EZ Pilot is a full FPV “tiny whoop” drone kit that includes the drone, the remote control, and FPV goggles. The EZ Pilot has three different flight modes that will allow you to begin flying with one stick and then advance to flying in angle mode. The 1S batteries that the EZ Pilot uses are compatible with other small FPV drones like the EMAX Tiny Hawk and Tiny Hawk S.

In this video we unbox the EMAX EZ Pilot, set it up and demonstrate what it can do. The price is $109 US dollars.

Just go acro mode though, get through the frustration and have so much more fun.
Was wondering about the Emax goggles quality, but hard to say as it’s dependent on the incoming feed. 😡

I love the tripod you’re using for the gopro. What’s the name of it?

  5. Gemster18 on June 22, 2022 at 7:24 pm

Great review as always! I do have a question though, the goggles that come with the EZ PILOT, are they the same exact goggles that would come with the ready-to-fly tiny hawk setup? or do they give you a lower resolution set of goggles with the starter FPV model?

  6. SerJG on June 22, 2022 at 7:28 pm

Is there any way to show battery voltage?
I drained one battery till it stops to lift the drone. I’m kinda worried about it.

  7. pedro lima on June 22, 2022 at 7:28 pm

  8. john maloney on June 22, 2022 at 7:29 pm

coo this helped us with our ez pilots. i bought a couple of these for my boys having trouble setting them up to fly at the same time. seem to be on same channel/frequency. can you direct me where to find the info

I got one of these to teach friends and relatives to fly, but it ended up being kind of useless because it has a terrible drift back and to the left. I have adjusted the trims and tried calibrating it on a level surface, but I cannot get rid of the drift. I found other youtube comments mentioning this same problem. I can fly it in the intermediate or advanced modes because I am comfortable compensating for the drift, but it is really hard for inexperienced friends to constantly fight the drift. The beginner mode is totally worthless even for me because without the ability to roll to the right to compensate for the drift, the quad constantly flies back and to the left until it runs into something. Any ideas of how to take care of this problem?

  14. brian heinemann on June 22, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Everytime i start it up it flies for 2 seconds then goes full throttle just flips over or gets stuck and is just sitting there upside down in full throttle until i turn the controller off

Hi, How do you know when you have the right chanel please, there are several ez pilot videos on you tube and all seem to have F-01- 5740 but your on R-09-5732?

  20. Juliano Guimaraes on June 22, 2022 at 7:44 pm

How did you record giggle footage?

  21. Mark Shimokochi on June 22, 2022 at 7:44 pm

Save your money, I got to use mine for about half an hour and after crashing on about every flight, probably less than a dozen, one of the struts holding the motor to the frame broke. It’s not really made for beginners, relatively fragile. Now it won’t even lift off , motors seem to be only lifting on one side.
Emax doesn’t even have a replacement frame to buy.
I’ve had this product less than 1.5 weeks.

  22. barking.dog.productions1776 on June 22, 2022 at 7:44 pm

I picked one of these up with a few spare drone batteries. Still learning how to fly it, but this video sure explains the basics very well… better than the paper instructions. I still don’t consider the drone simple to fly… my DJI Phantom is dead simple. With the DJI and hands off the sticks it stops and waits for your next input. GPS is nice… this takes a bit more skill. 🙂

    Nice flying, BTW. 🙂

does anyone know if the ez pilot will bind to a fr sky radio!?!?

  24. Maryland Wear and Carry on June 22, 2022 at 7:46 pm

Did your other antennae improve reception? Thanks

  25. Kojiro's 7th on June 22, 2022 at 7:48 pm

I know this video came out 2 years ago but I recently pulled the trigger and bought the EZ pilot kit. As of April 16th, 2021, the Tinyhawk II has an EZ pilot-like kit but I went with the EZ Pilot because it was cheaper, the remote and googles seem to be exactly the same from what I’m seeing the EZ pilot kit comes w/ fewer antennas… so my question is If I were to buy a Tinyhawk II separately, Can I bind the Tinyhawk II with the EZ pilot kit?

  26. Tony Swenka on June 22, 2022 at 7:49 pm

Phenomenal video so helpful. I purchased one of these for me and my son and I was struggling to bind it so it was pretty much useless. Now we are really starting to have fun with it after watching the video.
Can you possibly do a video on different types of goggle and their functionality?

  27. Cat Reacts To Cringe on June 22, 2022 at 7:50 pm

hey is the goggle quality bad like does it have those glitches?

  28. CizreK on June 22, 2022 at 7:51 pm

Really nice review, the only one with inside of the goggles… thanks!

  38. Piers Taylor on June 22, 2022 at 8:03 pm

I’m really wanting the tiny hawk s, but I want to buy the ex pilot first, will the ex pilot take a 600mha 1s 3.7v battery? The same as the tiny hawk?

  39. Solar Fry on June 22, 2022 at 8:03 pm

When you mentioned the tiny hawk you indicated two batteries. 1s snd 2s . Is there a difference in flying time or can you gang 2 batts for longer flight time?

  40. Solar Fry on June 22, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Great review with a lot of usefull information. Thanks…

  44. samurai okinawa on June 22, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Is there a way to get the FPV feed on a regular digital screen like a cell phone etc rather than wearing the goggles?

  45. 7bo0ob on June 22, 2022 at 8:15 pm

I have emax ez……if I buy tinyhawk s or tinyhawk 2..will they working with the same controller of emax ez ???

  46. Tom M on June 22, 2022 at 8:17 pm

It sounds like the TinyHawk S would be a good upgrade from the EZ Pilot drone. If a person gets a TinyHawk S can it be bound to the EZ Pilot controller given most beginners don’t have other controllers and on a budget? I understand the controller can only have one drone bound to it at a time – but the question is; can the TinyHawk be bound to the EZ Pilot controller? Otherwise, do you recommend an affordable controller?

  47. Drone Q8 * Bader * on June 22, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Can I bind emax ez to other remote controller

  48. Lance Loeffler on June 22, 2022 at 8:18 pm

Nice video but please stop screwing on antennas by the shaft – only use the nut/finger screw at the base. Bad habit that should not be passed on. And not to be picky but you’re calling switches "sticks". It might confuse newbies.

  49. Benedikt Müller on June 22, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    Does it have acro mode?

  50. CoolGamesNL on June 22, 2022 at 8:21 pm

i just got it today. And when i power it up inside my house it drifts to the left. (I am fully new to drones so i have no idea how to fix this) do you have any tips on what i can do? I also didnt touch any of the calibration buttons since i dont know how they work.
