when showing the footage was it transitioning from stock footage to what you have done to it in post?

  2. Aeson Rose on August 13, 2020 at 9:15 am

Great video and wonderful tips! Just recently got a Mavic pro and I’m definitely appreciating your drone footage tips. I think the D-Log tip is crucial.

  3. Jimmy Courcelles on August 13, 2020 at 9:15 am

    Hey Thanks for the video,
Very interesting video, most of people do not recommend to shot in 1080 60p because of detail loss and that Mavic can’t handle it at all, That would be very interesting to see you doing a side by side view comparison with 4K 24p picture profil DLOG +1 -1 -1, that most of people recommend …

  5. F Azevedo on August 13, 2020 at 9:18 am

    And now without any post-production!
Suppose you have to deliver to a customer, a footage straight out of mavic!

  6. MrStibaer on August 13, 2020 at 9:19 am

Great video! Keep up the good work!

  7. Sean on August 13, 2020 at 9:20 am

Sorry if you have answered this somewhere or if it is in the desc. (Didnt see it) but what editing software do you use? I currently use light room solely for editing not for the storage option, would you recommend lightroom? (And photoshop)

  8. Hans i on August 13, 2020 at 9:20 am

Hi have questions about my mavic pro when I tried to shoot a vide record camer it stops automatically in 20 second or 30 second you know where do I make mistakes in settings..? Thank you

  9. Ashish Amatya on August 13, 2020 at 9:20 am

newbie here. how do you enhance the image like in 4:05 ? custom preset ? which editing software?

    Great video

  12. Mercedes Lounge on August 13, 2020 at 9:22 am

Great video. I’ll be trying these options tomorrow on my DJI Mavic Pro. I haven’t been able to get good footage. I tried the 4K/24fps and the footage wasn’t that great. What video editing software do you use? Personally, right now on a budget, am using iMovie on my mac. We’ll see how it goes as I’m hoping to start uploading more footage for my YouTube channel.

Thanks for the help. Enjoyed the video very much. Love to be able to color correct like you did on this video.
Also now I can get rid of the over sharp footage.

  17. Michael Worthington on August 13, 2020 at 9:28 am

Your footage was really great! Do you ever use any filters?

  18. Scott Forsyth on August 13, 2020 at 9:28 am

was the 2nd videos you faded into where they colour graded or just those settings you used?

  21. Michael Philip on August 13, 2020 at 9:34 am

Yeah I wouldn’t down my sharpness that much.. turns trees to mush

  22. Joshua Carlton on August 13, 2020 at 9:37 am

absolutely beautiful footage! You are the only one whoI have seen recommend those settings, especially 1080/60. and then -2 sharpness on top of d-log! was super skeptical but clearly it works in the hands of a skilled videographer. Thanks for the info, I will have to give it a shot.

  23. Robert Oliver on August 13, 2020 at 9:38 am

    Many Thanks! 🙂

  24. Teddy Tedd on August 13, 2020 at 9:38 am

Did you use filters in the sample footage???

  25. Oscar Cordeiro on August 13, 2020 at 9:40 am

really nice. one doubt: 1080/60 means a that you shot with a stutter speed of 1/30? thanks

  26. Daisy Patritio on August 13, 2020 at 9:41 am

You’re a fabulous teacher. Question: Can the Mavic Pro’s built-in editor handle creating Slo-mo from the 1080p/60 footage? If not, how about Premiere Elements? Thank you.

  27. abel berenguer on August 13, 2020 at 9:43 am

    Great view also Exllent video

  28. Drones Eye View on August 13, 2020 at 9:43 am

Thanks man. I an new to drone photography. Still learning. Will test your ideas and hopefully will improve my videos on my channel.

  29. TECH DRONE MEDIA on August 13, 2020 at 9:48 am

Great video, but NTSC is not really 30 fps, it’s 29.97? Found out trying to sync with some 30fps footage when doing some of my tutorials.

  30. MyloMusica on August 13, 2020 at 9:52 am

do you use D LOG at night?

  31. Nimit Patel on August 13, 2020 at 9:53 am

You have great videos and I’m learning a lot from your tutorials. I have one question that’s really confusing me.

    The sharpness setting.

I keep reading mixed opinions on whether it’s best to keep sharpness at -2 or +1. The reason being the internal noise reduction that the Mavic does if the sharpness is set to less than +1 causes trees/foliage to exhibit that watercolor effect. What are your thoughts on this?

I’m trying to test it myself but I haven’t been able to figure out what is the best setting

  32. Pol Leke on August 13, 2020 at 9:58 am

    Very nice footage and comment.
Gonna give it a shot (when the weather has changed)

  33. tyme taylor on August 13, 2020 at 9:58 am

Maybe you can clarify you pic settings for me. The vast majority of Mavic Pro vids state that 1080/60 is garbage, combined with the plethora of online forum posts reporting horrendous results with 60fps. Why is it youre able to some how obtain quality while all others fall short?

  34. A.J. Williams on August 13, 2020 at 9:59 am

I need help mavic pro platinum has laggy image

  35. Fibra on August 13, 2020 at 10:00 am

As I am completely unsatisfied with my Mavics shoots no matter which of reccomended setting I try, I will give yours a try too as nobody other recomend it and result is great. OK. postproduction made most of the magic, but still…

  36. Bustin Ass on August 13, 2020 at 10:01 am

Thanks dose the framing in 1080 / 60 bother you – when you use it with stock setting it looks like the bark on the trees is moving and leaves are moving but they are really not. Thanks

  37. Ella Begelfor on August 13, 2020 at 10:01 am

    Awesome Video 🙂

  38. alekxander gere on August 13, 2020 at 10:02 am
