Drone Regulation Relaxed for Commercial Use

Starting in August, commercial drone operators will be able to do so with less restriction. This is after the FAA eased up on drone regulations for commercial use. Previously, commercial drones were to be piloted by people with commercial pilot license. Soon operators will only have to be over the age of 16 and fly them up to 400 feet while within operator visibility. Will this make tensions higher seeing how there has been an increase in people shooting down drones? We look at the commercial drone issue on the Lip News with Nik Zecevic, Joya Mia Italiano and Margaret Howell.

    Here’s the thing:
Let’s have a show of hands. Is anyone surprised that our corporate controlled government has made things easier for commercial interests to cut costs and generate more profit?
Loss of livelihood? More people out of work, more people forced into an ever dwindling safety net program?
Fuck them! This is cool! More profit, less overhead? This is consumerism, the American way. It’ll make things easier for me, as long as I can afford it who cares what happens to others?
