Now they fly "virtual versions" of the real drones in computer generated courses. Lets see them fly the real drones in the natural non-computer generated course. So basically on a Sunday afternoon you are watching pilots using a simulator to fly computer generated drones instead of a real race. Yeah it may require the same skills and the controller movement and feedback are the same but it still is not the real thing. No one wants to waste time watching folks play a video game on NBC sports. This is why drone racing is a dead sport now.

This is cool but it would be better if the tracks were more clean and consistent. Mark X+Y route on the ground with one colour light, mark vertical targets like these shapes with another. And less reflective surfaces especially if youre going to use that intense of a light with that many different colours. Its just gaudy and hard to look at. The concept is great. 1st person is definitely the way to shoot this but some 3rd person could be cool.
